★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just one word for the rooms. Dark. Be carefull for getting there. Go to the mountain parking, not the hotel. It is in a car free zone. Staff is very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this hotel after our other reservations fell through, and we cannot be more thankful. The location is literal perfection. You’re in the MIDDLE of old town. Everything of note is a few hundred meters away. The hotel itself is picturesque; the staff is especially lovely and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I have nothing but the highest praise for Stadkrug.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place should not be open. None of the advertised amenities or services are available. No parking, no street parking, no restaurant, no bar, no terrace, dirty room, unsafe room (door fell in on me), no concierge, hotel closes at 7pm! Best excuse they could offer was, ‘we’re not usually open right now’. It should have stayed that way. Byzantine check-in, hidden fees. I could go on, and on…this place will not earn your money.
