Wo gibt es das sonst noch? Hoffentlich wird dieses Geschäft nicht auch noch aus der Getreidegasse getilgt und die x-te beliebige Fetzenboutique auf die niemand gewartet hat, zieht ein. We are absolutely thrilled with the store. Great, quality goods and a reputable, knowledgeable umbrella repair service at a decent price. Where else can you get that? Hopefully this business will not also be wiped out of Getreidegasse and the umpteenth random scrap boutique that no one has been waiting for will move in.

Auf der Suche nach einer besonderen Erinnerung an unseren Aufenthalt sind wir über die außergewöhnlich hochwertig verarbeiteten Schirme in der Außenansicht gestossen. Zugegeben für uns am Anfang ein toller, aber hochpreisiger und dafür qualitativ absolut hochwertiger "Schirm". Aber eigentlich viel mehr als das - echtes Handwerk in seiner Perfektion! Als uns im Geschäft die einzelnen Schritte, Materialien und die dazugehörige Tradiotion näher gebracht wurde, begriffen wir schnell - ein Stück für die Ewigkeit, welches mit Stolz im Alltag getragen werden kann. Wir wurden mit in die Herstellung genommen, in der wir unseren Wunschschirm inkl. Beratung eigens zusammenstellen konnten. Wo ist sowas in der heutigen Zeit bitte noch möglich? Handwerk hat seinen Preis und in dieser Qualität vom ersten Eindruck bis hin zum eigenen Unikat sind wir gerene bereit dieses entsprechen zu honorieren / zu zahlen. Der Schirm hat ca. 14 Tage (durch eine eigene Gravur etwas längere) Porduktionszeit/Lieferzeit, wird dann mit absoluter Sicherheit im hohen Norden von Deutschland in Ehren seinen Einsatz im Alltag finden. We visited Salzburg for a few days over Easter, including in the Kirchtag family's shop. In search of a special memory of our stay, we came across the exceptionally high quality processed umbrellas in the exterior view. Admittedly for us in the beginning a great, but high-priced and therefore absolutely high quality "umbrella". But actually much more than that - real craftsmanship in its perfection! When we were introduced to the individual steps, materials and the associated tradition in the shop, we quickly understood - a piece for eternity that can be worn with pride in everyday life. We were taken into production, where we were able to put together our own umbrella including advice. Where is something like that still possible today? Craftsmanship comes at a price and in this quality, from the first impression to your own unique piece, we are more than willing to honor / pay for it. The umbrella has about 14 days (due to its own engraving a little longer) production time / delivery time, it will then be used with absolute certainty in everyday life in the far north of Germany.

Das Geschäft an sich ist schon wunderbar, aber die Schirmmanufaktur ist ein Traum! Okay, die Schirme sind nicht günstig, aber dafür eine Anschaffung fürs Leben. Wer will schon mit einem hässlichen Billigteil aus Fernost durch die Gegend laufen, das beim ersten Windstoß das Zeitliche segnet? If you are thinking about purchasing a high-quality umbrella, you should definitely stop here. The business itself is wonderful, but the umbrella factory is a dream! Okay, the umbrellas are not cheap, but they are an investment for life. Who wants to walk around with an ugly cheap part from the Far East that blesses the time with the first gust of wind?

Schirm hat mir gleich gut gefallen, aber meiner Frau viel auf, saß der gebogene Holzgriff auf 2 Seiten komplett in der Länge gerissen ist. Schade. Die Verkäuferin hatte zu meinem noch das selbe Model auf Lager und hat ihn mir gleich gebracht. Der Schirm war auf den 1. Blich auch in Ordnung. Nachdem wir gezählt haben hat die Verkäuferin noch zu mir gesagt, dies ist ein guter Schirm. Der Urlaub war zu Ende und wir fuhren wieder nach Erding \München. 2 Tage später beim spazieren gehen im Regen fiel dann auf, daß die Bespannung eine offene Naht aufweist. 120km weg von Salzburg und mit der Post zu teuer und aufwendug. Hat mir den halben Kaufpreis erstattet. Hab die offene Naht mit einem Textil Klebestreifen geklebt. Mein Fazit: 2 schirme 100% fehlerhaft. Also, Schirme genau inspiziertn. Unfortunately, my visit was not crowned with success. The 1st umbrella I liked the same, but my wife a lot on, sat the curved wooden handle on 2 sides completely broken in length. Too bad. The saleswoman had to my still the same model in stock and has brought him the same. The screen was on the first Blich also fine. After we counted the saleswoman said to me, this is a good screen. The holiday was over and we drove back to Erding \ Munich. 2 days later while walking in the rain then noticed that the fabric has an open seam. 120km away from Salzburg and by post too expensive and expensive. Has refunded me half the purchase price. Glued the open seam with a textile adhesive strip. My conclusion: 2 umbrellas 100% faulty. So, umbrellas carefully inspected.

It is a Kirchtag umbrella shop. It was a long time since I opened the door in 1903. The umbrella stand is made of wood and I still make umbrellas by hand. Handle portion is made by bending, the entire umbrella is made of wood. The signboard of the shop is umbrella, so you can easily find it. The umbrella is very expensive and costs around 300 euros.
