We came for an early breakfast, the waiter was lovely and very attentive. The food was simple but delicious. They did not have any alternative dairy options like oat milk for our lactose intolerant friends.

Visiting Mozart's hometown to have a tea break. Mozart Cafe is along the street of Mozart's Birthplace. It's very nicely decorated in medieval decor. The strudel is delicious and warm Gluhwein great for "winter" autumn.

Really liked the special dessert Nockerl here. Cafe ambience was welcoming and friendly waiter. Nice interesting paintings were hanged by stairway walls. Excellent location.

Loved the Melange and Apfelstrudel. Just perfect. Will go back for the well-known Salzburg Nockerl next time! I also had their Wiener Schnitzel. The meat was tender, flavorful, and really goes well with the cranberry and fries. Overall dining experience is very good. I especially loved the cafe vibe. Locals were just having small chit chats or reading newspapers while having their coffee and dessert. Lots of incoming tourist. I know very little Deutsch but the staff assisted me as well. Some staff can communicate very well in English if you need help. Great place! Recommended!

Famous place frequented by tourists. Worth a visit if you're in Salzburg. Regular ambience of coffee shops with a good selection of drinks. Maybe avoid ordering the famous dessert. I tried once, it was not that good. It smelled of bad eggs. However, the waiters are nice, they kept coming to check on us. They also had Glühwein at the time which I find to be tasty with cakes.
