★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here during early spring. The hutt wasn’t open yet. I gave it a three stars beacuse their winter room was closed. We couldn’t shelter ourselves from the pouring rain. What’s the point of having one if hikers can’t use it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to sleep in Johannishütte because we couldn’t reach Defregger due to snow conditions. The hut was full so we needed notlager, in the end we got place in trockenraum. I didt like that the boss yelled at us like we were his dogs. What a shame. Never going again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we had a kind of emergency situation. We wanted to reach the other Hütte but we had to stay because it was late and the weather conditions were bad. There was not any free rooms for us so we had to spend the night in the Trockenraum where all the wet clothes and shoes were. It wasn't a problem but the owner or whoever he was was yelling and treated us in a way that is unaccaptable. It was truly a miserable situation. I would never go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the traditional food but funny enough also their Spaghetti Bolonese ? sooo tasty! Also apfelstrudel was legendary.
No cards accepted, not really English friendly. Do not expect wifi or internet for guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little bit old fashioned and traditional but very nice stay. In this time they had only lager rooms which saved us few euros for the budget. The food here is just fantastic. Anything you have. Also beers are nice and refreshing here. Strange is that I had one of the best spaghetti bolognese of my life here. Btw. it's cash only so be prepared.
