F	Fabian Hanselmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extrem freundliches Personal. Die Hütte ist außerdem super in Schuss. Es gibt warmes Wasser, für 2€ sogar ein warme Dusche. Zum Abendbrot gibt es wechselnde Gerichte, und außerdem veganes Chili sin carne. Echt top. Die Lager sind mit einer Belegung von 6 Personen recht ruhig. Nachtruhe ist ab 22 Uhr. In der Nähe gibt es interessante Gipfel zum Teil mit Gletschern oder Kletterpassagen, aber auch welche ohne. Extremely friendly staff. The hut is also in great condition. There is hot water and a warm shower for € 2. There are changing dishes for dinner, as well as vegan chili sin carne. Really great. The camps are quite quiet with an occupancy of 6 people. Night's rest is from 10 p.m. There are interesting peaks nearby, some with glaciers or climbing passages, but also some without.

D	Dr. Robert Braunmüller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alpenvereinshütte unterhalb der Kristallwand in der Venedigergruppe auf einer Höhe von 2608 Metern. Erreichbar über das Löbbentörl von Innergschlöss aus sowie auf einem sehr langen und bis zu den ersten Almen wenig attraktiven Almweg über das Froßnitztal. Übergänge zum Defreggerhaus u.a. über Gletscher. Die Hütte ist sehr angenehm, gute Küche. In der Nacht als Holzbau etwas hellhörig. Leider nur je eine Toilette für Damen und Herren. Alpine club hut below the Kristallwand in the Venediger group at an altitude of 2608 meters. It can be reached via the Löbbentörl from Innergschlöss as well as on a very long and unattractive alpine path over the Froßnitztal up to the first alpine pastures. Crossings to the Defreggerhaus, including over glaciers. The hut is very pleasant, good cuisine. A bit noisy at night as a wooden structure. Unfortunately only one toilet each for men and women.
M	Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gemütliche kleine Hütte unterhalb der Kristallwand, mit sehr freundlichen, familiären Pächtern (August 2021). Wir sind mit vier Personen zwei Nächte lang hier geblieben, es wurde auf gesundheitlich bedingte Sonderwünsche bei den Mahlzeiten eingegangen, und die weithin bekannten Kuchen sind ein Traum (ich persönlich war vom frisch zubereiteten Käsekuchen äusserst begeistert!). Die Lage ist ideal für Wanderungen zum oder über den Gletscher, auf die Kristallwand oder einen der kleinen Seen oder Gebirgsbäche in der Umgebung. Hier gibt es auch noch Edelweiß, Enzian, Murmeltiere und andere inzwischen selten gewordene Alpenbewohner in rauen Mengen. Die Hütte ist auch eine der wenigen Orte auf der wir bei unserer mehrtägigen Tour Handy- und Internetempfang auf den Mobilgeräten hatten. Cozy little hut below the Kristallwand, with very friendly, family tenants (August 2021). We stayed here for two nights with four people, special health-related requests for the meals were catered for, and the well-known cakes are a dream (personally, I was extremely enthusiastic about the freshly made cheesecake!). The location is ideal for hikes to or over the glacier, the crystal wall or one of the small lakes or mountain streams in the area. There are also edelweiss, gentians, marmots and other alpine dwellers that have become rare in abundance here. The hut is also one of the few places where we had cell phone and internet reception on our mobile devices on our multi-day tour.

Beatiful location, wonderful warm and friendly staff, good soup, cozy sleeping room. Would like to visit it again while hiking the Venediger Höhenweg or the summit of Kristallwand.
