Engagierte Bedienung, nicht mehr wirklich billig. Sehr lohnenswerter Aufstieg zur Kreuzspitze. The princely. A simple hotel rather than a mountain hut, modern, (our) room with toilet and shower, good food and a rich breakfast. Dedicated service, not really cheap anymore. Very worthwhile ascent to the Kreuzspitze.

M	Maik Franke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hallo @ll einer meiner Wanderungen hat mich auch zu dieser wunderschönen Hütte geführt. Schloss in en Bergen nicht ohne Grund. Schon weitem sieht man das Bauwerk und ist einfach nur Klasse. Nach 3 Stündigem Aufstieg vom Parkplatz Bichl aus ist man - also ich zumindest - völlig kaputt aber man wird echt belohnt. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön, Essen und Trinken tun ihr übriges dazu. Ich bin voll auf zufrieden mit dem Angebot, Freundlichkeit und Aussicht. Wer noch die Power hat kann noch einiges an Wanderungen in Angriff nehmen. Ich bin dann den Rundwanderweg über das Timmeltal zurück zum Parkplatz vorbei an der Möglichkeit die Eisseehütte zu besuchen aber das wird eines der nächsten Ziele :-) Nur noch als Zusatz, das Timmeltal kann man auch mit dem MTB befahren und dann hoch zur Eisseehütte und dem Eissee. Sehr empfehlenswert. Hello @ll one of my hikes also led me to this beautiful hut. Castle in the mountains not without reason. You can see the building from afar and it's just great. After a 3-hour ascent from the Bichl car park, you are - at least I am - completely broken, but you are really rewarded. The view is very nice, food and drink do the rest. I am completely satisfied with the offer, friendliness and view. If you still have the power, you can still tackle a lot of hikes. I am then the circular hiking trail over the Timmeltal back to the parking lot past the possibility to visit the Eisseehütte but that will be one of the next goals :-) Just as an addition, the Timmeltal can also be ridden with the MTB and then up to the Eisseehütte and the Ice lake. Highly recommended.

Beautiful country house, cozy and tastefully decorated with a super friendly owner. The castle in the mountains deserves the name!
