Well equiped mountain cabin. Decent drying room, tasty mountaneering food. Lager was relatively large (20 places in a room or so) and a bit crowded.

I loved this hut, especially the food. They serve also vege dishes which is really cool. Also make sure to try Spätzle here, the best I had in Osttirol! Beds were comfy, blankets and pillows included and you can pay by card. They speak English.

Really nice stay in this hut. Young crew speaks English, hut is big and rooms are cozy with a great view. The kitchen makes perfect food, specially käse spätzle. You can pay by card which is handy. Oh, and definitely have some of their blechkuchen. Yummy!

Perfect for those looking for a hotel and restaurat with fine food. Unfortunately the place has nothing to do with a mountain shelter. During our 3 day stay we were constantly harassed to buy drinks from the restaurant. Although the hut offers self-catering, it is not welcome. On departure, it was pointed out to us that we should have left more tips. Some information on the web page are misleading eg. the cost of luggage transportation - somehow smb forgot to mention that 7 euro per piece refers to minimum of 5 pieces which turned out to be an unpleasant suprise. Horrendous price of boiling water (3,5 euro per fill up) - seems unjustified in a place with access to running water, not to mention that the price is above the maximum set by Alpenverein. Several rules for Alpenverein huts are not followed (no designated place for self-catering, no alcohol free drink offered at a price at least 40% less than the same quantity of beer, no mountanieering meal etc.). The owners probably forgot that being an Apenverein hut is associated with certain obligations. Generally, I was under the impression that the more money one leaves in the hut the better. Rooms in the new part are cosy, clean and warm, in the old one cold and a bit dump. The showers in women's sanitary facilities could be cleaned more often. Overall impression: won't visit again.

Sweet food, great team, awesome surroundings! We spent a week there. I wasn't happy with the vegan options, especially for breakfast. It was a bit cold in the rooms.

Beautiful surroundings, very good location of the hut. We had rooms in the older part of the building and it was very cold in the room, although we had sleeping bags, and old blankets available in the hut… Power socket didn’t work, there was another one in the hall. Bathrooms were clean, except ladies shower – outflow was blocked and there was too much water in the shower tray. The food was tasty, but don’t use more than 1 tea bag for breakfast, so if you want to make tea in the thermos - take “tea bags” with you to the hut. The younger crew of the hut was nice and speak english. Pay attention to the bill during the final settlement with the hut - we had problems with deducting the advance payments made before arrival. Waiters said they don’t know if we had made a payment or not, maybe it was deducted to another person etc. Strange situation. High tips are expected!
