★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es war wieder einmal ein schöner Urlaub mit der kleinen Führung durch die Mühle. hier sollte man einmal gewesen sein. Ich war heir schon über 15x und immer in der gleichen Pension ist aber schon 38 Jahre her und da war alles noch fiel mehr Naturbelassen. Das waren halt noch die guten alten Zeiten wo die Umwelt noch in Ordnung war ums keine Gletscher dir vor der Nase weggeschmolzen sind.
It was once again a nice vacation with the small tour through the mill. you should have been here once. I have been over 15 times here and always in the same pension but 38 years ago and everything was still more natural. Those were the good old days when the environment was still okay so that no glaciers melted away from your face.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine sehenswerte Mühle in Hinterbichl welche sogar noch in Betrieb sein sollte und man den Betrieb sich bei einer Führung zeigen lassen kann. Leider war bei meinen Besuch dies nicht möglich.
A worth seeing mill in Hinterbichl which should even be in operation and you can let the company be shown on a tour. Unfortunately, this was not possible during my visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beim letzten Besuch im Virgental konnten wir mit unseren Kindern die Islitzer Mühle beim Mahlen von Korn beobachten. Desweiteren konnte auch Mehl erworben werden.
Wir haben daraus Brot gebacken und waren erfreut darüber, daß das Brot sehr locker war.
During our last visit to Virgen we were able to observe the Islitzer mill grinding wheat with our children. Furthermore, flour could be purchased.
We baked bread from it and were pleased that the bread was very loose.
