r	raini _does_stuff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Hütte ist innen größer als man auf den ersten Blick denkt, da sie ein bisschen in den Berg hineinversetzt ist. Die Atmosphäre hier ist sehr nett. Unterhalb von der Terrasse, die sich anbietet ein Buch zu lesen, steht ein Wasserrad aus Holz. Der Wanderweg durch das Tal ist wunderschön. Man kann über der Isel viele alte kleinere Brückenfundamente sehen. Wenn das Wetter sehr gut ist, dann gehen hier recht viele Leute, darauf sollte man achten, wenn man lieber alleine ist. Der Weg ist durch seine Länge und teilweise leicht abgerutschte Hänge nichts für komplett unerfahrene Wanderer. The hut is bigger inside than you might think at first glance, as it is set a bit into the mountain. The atmosphere here is very nice. Below the terrace, which is ideal for reading a book, there is a wooden water wheel. The hiking trail through the valley is beautiful. You can see many old, smaller bridge foundations over the Isel. When the weather is very good, there are a lot of people going here, you should pay attention to this if you prefer to be alone. Due to its length and partly slippery slopes, the path is not for completely inexperienced hikers.
M	Maik Franke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi @ll Wie immer bin ich fasziniert von den vielen unterschiedlichen Zielen und Wanderwegen. Vom Parkplatz Ströden kann man die unterschiedlichsten Touren machen. Ich für meinen Teil bin an diesem Tag entlang der Umbaltalwasserfälle in einem schönen Tal bis zur Clarahütte gegangen. Am Anfang geht es moderat bergan um dann an den Wasserfällen mit einigen Treppen immer weiter hoch zu steigen. Entlang des teilweise schön tiefen Tals ist es ein sehr schöner Wanderweg der einen schönen Wasserfall quert und man direkt davor stehen kann. An der Hütte angekommen ist die Aussicht in die Bergen wieder sehr fanszinierend und man kann sehr schön verweilen um nach einem guten Essen/Trinken den Rückweg anzutreten. Ich kann für meinen Teil diese schöne Wanderung nur empfehlen. Sehr empfehlenswert! Hi @ll As always, I am fascinated by the many different destinations and hiking trails. A wide variety of tours can be made from the Ströden car park. For my part, I walked along the Umbaltal waterfalls in a beautiful valley to the Clarahütte that day. At the beginning it is moderately uphill to then climb up the waterfalls with a few stairs. Along the sometimes beautifully deep valley, there is a very beautiful hiking trail that crosses a beautiful waterfall and you can stand right in front of it. When you arrive at the hut, the view of the mountains is very inspiring again and you can linger very nicely to start your way back after a good meal / drink. For my part, I can only recommend this beautiful hike. Highly recommended!

With the help of solar panels on the rooftop combined with water turbines, the hut is completely self-sufficient and in line with beautiful nature of the national park. ⛰? Legendary food (there was crowded for lunch), very friendly staff and the cosiest rooms ever. Pro tip: try to get room 3 if you're traveling as a couple, it has private shower ?and ?. No cards accepted, required to book ahead and sent deposit.

Rooms are new and beautiful, great view from the window. It has amazing Slovak crew Karin and Juraj who made the stay even better. Home made bread and cake for breakfast were amazing. Cash only.
