★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! Great atmosphere! Great staff! The food was excellent, along with a fresh, cold & tasty beer! Too bad we didn't had time for dessert. I am convinced that the desserts here, as well as the food, are exceptional!
As about the staff, well, there is nothing bad to say about the service here, they were nice, friendly and attentive - great work guys - keep it up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little disappointed in the experience. Our family was looking forward to some authentic Austrian cuisine.
We appreciate culture and customs but things felt a little off for how we were being treated.
The appetizer we ordered wasn’t right but we didn’t complain and tried it, it was just caked in salt which made it completely unpalatable. The spritz was watered down and and Prosecco was flat and old (should have got a beer.) The food was ok.
Lastly, My husband liked the mugs that the beer was served in asked if they sold them, to which they replied, “yes” and sold us two USED ceramic mugs at top dollar. I’m super disappointed and disheartened that was done to us when we were trying our best to experience and appreciate another culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recommend you this typical restaurant if you are in Salzburg. Austrian specialities tasted very good, but what we liked the most was the atmosphere there and the staff who was very welcoming !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im giving it a 4 star because the service was super slow or the slowest on Sunday. The staff were friendly and polite also.The food were really nice I enjoyed my risotto with chicken,it was rich in flavor and well cooked.. they have the best Wiener schnitzel also so fresh. Simply the best österreichischen Essen.the Lokal is easy to find in the old city of Salzburg next to the Castle.Do Reserve the table before you go there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place always seems to be busy so expect a crowded sitting area and some noise. The servers are constantly on the run trying to get everyone taken care of. The food was amazing and the beer was superb. If you’re looking for quiet or fast service this is probably not for you. If you want an authentic Austrian experience with matching atmosphere then come on in. Always as for staff favorites, they won’t disappoint.

Food tastes completely yummy. Highly recommend for a chill evening.
The dishes that we ordered were having big portions and equally delicious.
