★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife, her family, and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant in December 2016, and we absolutely LOVED it. The ambience upstairs was delightfully cozy and historic with authentic folk art decorations. My wife and her dad raved about the cioppino, and the apple strudel was incredible. The view of the Christmas festivities in the square below added to the magical experience. We highly recommend Restaurant Zum Eulenspiegel Salzburg!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst service that I've ever had. The stuff didn't speak English at all. They said that we need to wait 5m for table. Then they forgot about us out. They mess with our order. Didn't bring what we ordered. But the food is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experience of my life. Bread came with a bug. Im a vegetarian and they only had salad (we are in 2021).
When the bill came, they charges us Kitchen service (maybe an extra for sending a bug friend?), service table AND THEY DARE TO SAY THE TIP WAS NOT INCLUDED. DO NOT COME HERE, DOES NOT WORTH IT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic location and wonderfully accommodating. We were sent to the fourth floor, which led us into the wall above the restaurant. You are definitely paying a premium for this wonderfully unique setting, but the authentic continental cuisine doesn't disappoint. We ate our Christmas dinner here after another restaurant cancelled on us--and it was one of the most delightfully quirky and delicious experiences we have had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy atmosphere, excellent dinner! We had the 2 drinks featured in the menu, I enjoyed the hot toddy very much. Potato soup was yum yum yummy, then the goulash and stroganoff. Both were large portions of filling comfort food, which we were craving.
Excellent and friendly service.
