★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing dining experience. Service was superb, by far the best we had on our trip through Germany and Austria.
The best moment was when the staff brought out the entrees. My Girlfriends Quail was presented and then carved table side, and my filet had fresh truffle shaved right in front of me.
Outstanding food, would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and made a reservation weeks before hand. We were greeted nicely by the host (might be owner’s life) and given a very nice table. The servers were one of the friendliest servers I have met in Salzburg. Their Wagyu is cheaper than what you can find in North America. This place gives you a very premium and luxury atmosphere, and it seems to be popular among locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because of the heavy rain we caught cold and unfortunately cannot make the reservation. We arrived hotel and about to cancel when we got a call from the restaurant. After several apologies still got judged and got threatened to be charged.
Have been in Europe for 7 years first time experience service like this, usually people are considerate and kind. Regret the booking and will not recommend any friend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sybille offers you the warmest welcome when arriving at Brunnauer. My companion and I were visiting from New York and were guided to a lovely table in the bar area, where you could see the kitchen at work when the food would come out. The sommelier offered reasonable and delicious Austrian wine selections and pairings. The prices are fair and appropriate for the exquisite quality of the food, the service and the design of the Restaurant. I would highly recommend Brunnauer to anyone visiting Salzburg, this was a surprise recommendation from our concierge and we could not have been happier this evening with the overall impression and feeling we left with. A testament to Salzburg Hospitality at its finest. Thank You Sybille!
