I travel a lot, but this kind of commitment is really outstanding. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No better hotel to stay in when visiting Salzburg. I would love to keep this hotel a secret but the family who run this hotel are so wonderful that they deserve a proper review. The Wolf is perfectly situation in the old town section of the city and walking distance to absolutely everything you would want to do in town. The hotel has modern amenities and comforts but at the same time they preserve the historical soul and details of the building. And they have expertly extracted all the beauty of the history and rich culture Salzburg has to offer and present it in a way that makes you feel a part of the family who run this gem of a hotel. The part I wish I could hold back is that it is also very affordable! I have stayed at Alstadthotel Wolf in many seasons including the Christmas Markets which can't be missed.
They offer comfortable beds, very clean rooms, a wonderful breakfast (my personal favorite), excellent location and all this with the personal touch and charm only a family who has been running this hotel for generations could provide.

From breakfast to quiet evenings, Hotel Wolf is our choice in Salzburg!
