★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good but I was very hungry.
The beer had an excellent taste I liked it.
But when it came to pay - the bill was 20.45 and I told the waiter to round up for 22 € he put 25 € in the box and I noticed that only afterwards when I checked my account - this is a no go. So if you pay with credit cards check that he, it was a man in the service, will put in the amount you have to pay or the amount you told to do.
One star less for this awful mistake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was recommended by a friend, but we will end up there anyway as everyone is recommending the same spot.
Centrally located, in between the river and the pedestrian street, location is super convenient.
When it comes to the ambient, there are multiple separated areas, both traditional restaurant and modern bar sections.
I can recommend this place for both tasting the traditional local food as well as local beer ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The definition of a good Biergarten: good beer, authentic Austrian cuisine and a efficient and friendly service. This combined with the great location and best Schweinesbraten (pork belly) make this place an absolut must when visiting Salzburg!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While walking around we saw the menu and it sounded good. It was a big courtyard with trees for shade with lots of outdoor seating (along with tables inside). The pretzel soup was so good. Somewhat simple but rich beef broth and then pieces of pretzels - what a great dish! The lentil stew was thick and flavorful and serviced nice and hot. Service was friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A receptionist in one of 5 star hotels in Salzburg recommended the restaurant, and we really enjoyed dinner. The staff was super welcoming and humorous. The foods were tasty with no doubt and poison was more than sufficient. They have also a great beer selection.
