★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The app took a bit of setting up for the audio guide, and it didn't always work. Still, a very interesting exhibition and we'll worth an hour or so. Even the Rembrandt is enough reason to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Also on sunny days it is worthwhile to have a look at the museum. Goethe's travel to Italy exhibition will not be around all the time, but there is more to see. The Goethe exhibition is nicely done and gives a perspective on the broad interests and capabilities of the man. The basics are around (clothing, paintings, sculptures) and there is a touch of broad interest which is nice. The other parts of the museum are more standard and will not keep you for long. Some of the artwork is really nice, but the majority is average and there are no interactive 'intermezzo's' to extend your stay. We had a nice time for about 2hrs (with two juveniles).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in free with the innsbruck card, and the receptionist on 18/8 AM was absolutely welcoming and friendly. The place had some interesting artwork too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing museum, only problem was the lack of English- I couldn’t read the German and not everything was labeled in English there. All in all, it was a great experience, we were provided tablets that give us more information than those on the walls but we had to pay for them as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent museum. Very well laid out and had done great treasures. Archeology section does not include English language descriptions beside items in display so the audio tour is a necessity.
