M	Michael Monsa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war jetzt schon 2 Mal dort und gewinne den Eindruck, dass Aussenstehende eigentlich gar keine Chance haben dort an ihrem Bike zu "Schrauben". Die Stammgäste belegen den Laden praktisch durchgehend. Die Subkultur wird da groß gefeiert, aber das ist eigentlich auch schon der einzige Zweck, gehört man der Subkultur nicht an bekommt man dort eher gegenteilig das Gefühl, besser Leine zu ziehen. Mit der echten Öffentlichkeit zugänglicher Selbsthilfe hat das nichts zu tun nach meinem Empfinden. Dient nur dem Selbstzweck. Tatsächlich eher ein Vereinslokal mit ungeschriebenen Statuten. I've been there twice now and get the impression that outsiders actually have no chance of "screwing" on their bikes there. The regular guests occupy the shop practically throughout. The subculture is celebrated big there, but that's actually the only purpose, if you don't belong to the subculture, you get the opposite feeling that it's better to pull the leash. In my opinion, this has nothing to do with the real public of self-help. Serves only as an end in itself. In fact, more of a clubhouse with unwritten statutes.

Ich habe dort angerufen und gefragt, wie das bei der Bikekitchen funktioniert, ob mann einfach vorbeikommen kann, wenn das Fahrrad etwas repariert gehört. Darauf hin wurde ich einfach (aus denke ich mal, keinem Interesse) weggedrückt... Ich habe darauf hin nochmals angerufen, jedoch wurde ich da sofort abgelehnt. Finde ich echt schade, da sie sich in ihrer Homepage als sehr unkompliziert und offen beschreiben... :( I'm really disappointed ... I called there and asked how it works at Bikekitchen, whether you can just drop by if the bike needs to be repaired. Then I was simply pushed away (I guess, no interest) ... I called again, but I was immediately rejected. I think it's really a shame because they describe themselves on their homepage as very uncomplicated and open ... :(

V	V van Zeller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Community run bike workshop. If you don't have a lot of cash, but are willing to put the work in yourself, this is the place to go. Find spare parts and helpful people here. They also sell brake and shifter cable and some drinks.
