The Sigmund Freud Park is a small section of green space in front of Votivkirche in the 9th district of the city of Vienna. This is a small city park with a few sculptures and monuments potentially worth viewing if you intend to spend time in this area of the city. There is a paved walkway along the northeast side of the park with some short trees an park benches. From the centre of the park, you have excellent views of Votivkirche. Unfortunately there is much construction still taking place at the church and a large section of the facade is obstructed. Plus, with it presently being winter, the ground of Sigmund Freud Park is harsh so pictures are not so good at this time of year. If there is a point of interest during winter when it comes to Sigmund Freud Park is that of the monuments here. Here you can find the circle of trees planted in 1997 representing the original nations of the EU. There is also a subsequent Partner of All Nations monument erected in 2004, this is a granite table with 10 chairs (seats at the table) representing the 10 new nations which joined the EU in that year. You can also find small monument to Sigmund-Freud Psi-Alpha Monument, the Rudolf Moratti marble sculpture other contemporary sculptures on display in front of the church at Sigmund Freud Park. These are interesting to see when passing through the area or before/after your visit to Votivkirche.

A very peaceful park with an amazing view of Votivkirche. We decided to grab a chair and chill before venturing out to more attractions. I actually had the best nap.

In winter, not much. But in spring and summer it's a place to spend time between lectures at the university. People bring blankets and picknick (or just a book). Meanwhile, all around the park, the traffic is roaring.

A great piece of green in the middle of the city. Even though its surrounded by busy roads and trams, you can find some peace and leisure there. Grass field, benches, some tables...all you need to have a lunch under the open sky.

A huge park with a great view. Such a great way to spend a lazy afternoon in the sun and have a picnic. Probably the best power nap you'll ever have.

Sigmund-Freud-Park is a small public park opposite the Votivkirche. It's a nicely maintained green area in a fairly calm area of Vienna, slightly off the tourist circuit were it not for Votivkirche. The park seems popular with the students of the nearby university, but other than that there’s a few monuments in the park to see as well as a couple dedicated to Sigmund Freud for whom the park is named. Not a must see, but worth strolling through if you’re in the area.

The park is smaller, but there are a lot of benches. Also there's a public WiFi(Austrian Free Wifi) in the area which was useful.
