★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ventured slightly off the Vienna city centre, I chanced upon this Scottish Abbey with very nice interior,worth the walk and also found some good eateries around this area, Cafe Central is just about 3 mins walk and you must try the food here, reservation is definitely advisable.

Now church has high baroque style and several chapels.
It's charming place with calm quiet atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Schottenstift when I visited Vienna in January. I had a really comfortable stay. The staff were helpful. The hotel was in a great location, in central Vienna. The continental breakfast was healthy and ample. I really enjoyed visiting the museum next door and learning about the history of the place.
