★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Votivkirche is an impressive, Gothic-style church with very high ceilings. Very light and airy inside, amazing interior with stained glass, beautiful and unusual, with lots of deep colors. It has very majestic and spiritual atmosphere. Usually it isn't crowded (especially when compared to St Stephan Cathedral). A must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful church with a big park in front of it. Visit it if you are around, it's free and it's worth it. Bonus: on the walls you can see the coats of arms of the Austro-Hungarian Empire provinces

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome Gothic church with stained windows, lovely architecture, and a quiet and green park in front of it. The entrance is completely free, no ticket needed. Inside there are a nice altar and an astonishing stone pulpit. It's definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is amazing. We were here in the evening and there were a music band that rehearse something. It was so breathtaking to hear such beautiful voice of the girl with the echo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The detail on the outside it's so good it's even frustrating, but the glass panels on the inside drove me crazy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This church maybe isn't as impressive as Stephan's, but you still can appreciate the arhitectur. But most of all enjoy the quiet and be with your thoughts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The church was under some reconstructions when we got there but, the overall feeling was just overwhelming. The gothic style in architecture is simply stunning.
It was built in 18th century as a gratitude to God for saving the life of emperor Franz Joseph the 1st when an association attempt was made on him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite churches to visit when in Vienna. Although it is undergoing renovations it doesn’t take away from the interiors beauty. Some of the best stained glass windows I’ve seen. The main altar is beautiful without being gaudy. I have visited this church over a dozen times in the past 4 yrs and always leave with a peaceful heart.
