Seehotel Bellevue 4S am Zeller See

This hotel/residence was the best hotel where i stayed in Austria and even in Alpine regions of Europe. It is kind of room in the area where you have outstanding panorama onto the Zell and lake. There are so clean and in good condition of rooms with lots of facilities and kitchen gears as well. I just stayed there in summerseason and i am prette sure it should be so good in winter time as well. There are lots of ski resorts around including zell am see of course, Kaprun, Mayerhofen etc. If i would be again in the same area i know i will be staying in this residence again.

Even 5 star Rating is less for this Nice and Beautiful Hotel which is privately owned. Staff makes u feel home with their amazing hospitality. They have Amazing lake view Rooms which r costly but worth every penny. For budgetary they also have nearby Apartments facilities.

I have reserved this hotel through booking for about a week. Although it's a new hotel, they have issues managing guests services which I will list some below: The breakfast has limited chooses, and if you came at the last 30 minute you may not find some items like breads, chess, ... etc. The restaurant team lake professional behavior with guests, and usually you don't get your order as requested. Unfortunately, they don't understand English very well, so you have to repeat your order many times till the get it. The restaurant close early 9 pm and unfortunately you can not find any food after this time. The hotel is far away from zell am see and the bus passes is limited to 4 trips/ day one way only, so you need a car. Car parking is very limited and if you arrive late you will not find any park. Room do not have A/C or fans, and the only way to be ventilate the room is through the windows which will allow mosquitoes and other insects to enter the room and distraught your stay. I heat it. Smoking & kitchen smells enters the room through the ventilation windows and if you close it you the room will be hot. For the positive side: The design is modern and the room is very nice. This hotel is perfect only in winter.

Beautiful hotel, very clean room, excellent service!! The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The most gorgeous view of Zell am See. We have booked the suit with private sauna and HB. All was top class! We appreciate hotel and the workers for the great service and even small present during the dinner time. We deeply appreciated it.

We stayed as a couple on a 3 week long road trip, off season (October) for a few nights. This hotel was our "splurge" of the trip, opting for the larger, lake view room because I didn't want to miss out on that gorgeous lake. It was the right call all around - the Seehotel Bellevue might be one of the best hotels I've stayed in, because it combines style and luxury with wellness and a countryside hospitality without being superficial with either. The rooms are spacious and well designed with a modern look that reflects the hotel's long history rather than hide it. The views from our balcony to the lake were so stunning it was hard to leave for the day. Breakfast was unlike any other hotel breakfast I've experienced - focused on premium, healthy and fresh ingredients and made to order - this mode wouldn't work so well for a business trip but for a relaxing holiday it's ideal and for the first time in years of travel I was actually looking forwards to having breakfast. The staff and owners are kind, polite and professional, helping us with every question and request - from tips for our planned itinerary and receiving some mail for us to holding our luggage for an entire day past checkout so we could zap around the Grossglockner in our car without the extra weight. They even let us play with their puppy which would by itself earn this hotel an extra star. The downsides are so minor I feel silly even listing them but they would be: the hotel has 2 parking lots, one street level and easy to use, one closer to the lobby but requiring a tricky climb up a steep driveway which, with our large Audi A6 wagon and in the dark was a bit hairy (but we did see a full size truck manage it, so it's not impossible for any passenger car). The location is on the other side of the lake, meaning fewer restaurants and bars can be reached on foot compared to staying in Zell am See itself - if you travel by car however this location is far superior thanks to how quiet it is and the superb views. To conclude, I hope I have the privilege of staying here again.

Two stars because the view was incredible and the hostess was friendly. For the rest...none stars! Luckily we only went for drinks. The waitress was clueless on cocktail selection. I ordered a cosmo to make it easy...it showed up, litteraly LESS than half a martini glass(including ICE) and tasted like NOTHING! I politely mentioned this to the waitress when she came to take our second order and she didn't even acknowledge my comment. Then we each ordered a whiskey(coz they can't mess something up that doesn't require mixing)--showed up probably 2cl per glass. Overall SUPER disappointed in the quality of of the drinks. For the high standards they are setting and high drink prices, they should invest in qualified bartenders. Happy we didn't go there for food.

+ Good location. Not noicy, a bit out off city. Great view from room. Generally quite friendy staff. Really good food. Dinner is tasty & special - to be taken in price at your stay. Housekeeping: Super clean hotel - room was daily perfectly cleaned. 4 days we stay. Great job - housekeeping, you do not see them anywhere, once you are in room all is super clean! Reception:polite & informative. Restaurant: good food. Nicely served. Zoltan super host with Polite approch and good service. To be consider as improvements: - start of breakfest to be consider at 7 am in winter time (it is quite crowed at 7.30 in restaurant as all wants to do morning ski and until you are served it already 8.15...lack of time of bringing ski & easy going start of day) - During morning aquite long waiting for coffe/food - maybe to have more support at restaurant (students at least). 2 persons hardly could effectively cover all in 1h - proxy 40 people wishes (all those 40 wants warm eggs & fresh coffe asap)... This is not critics for young ladies working in the morning ( they are nice) just hint for support of staff. Maybe consider to back up your staff. - I was passive listener to one discussion relevant to morning trasportation (manager & one guest, not directly involved in talk/just lister) nevertheless talk/tone could be more politicaly correct (diplomatic) from both side: Guest - Manager. A bit arogante communication, from both sides, nevertheless more important hint to manager, as he/she is face of the hotel & service. We would come back once in summer!!!
