★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid the rooms with lake view (despite being nice): the train and a road passing just below the hotel are making a terrible noise. Without air conditioning, no way to close the windows. Ear plugs provided by the hotel are not enough.
Very basic breakfast.
The hotel is very clean but no recent modernization.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn't get the chance to stay at the hotel. However, I met with Mrs. Sani and must say she is very welcoming and supportive! She gave us all the tips and guided us on how to do the best excursions. The hotel location is perfectly suited 2 minutes away from the station, and just by the breathtaking view of the lake. It looks to be a very cozy hotel and I would recommend you to stay there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy and very lovely hotel. Exceptional staff and very friendly management. We stayed in room on the second floor with a great views of the lake. The only nuisance would be the noise of trains coming through the town, as hotel is very close to the tracks. It gets very loud, but only for a minute. Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. Very happy with our stay and we will be back next season! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good location, good breakfast, comfortable bed, nice view and excellent restaurant. 2 minutes walk to cafés and shops. 9 minutes walk to cable car for skiing. We got lake view room, unfortunately it was very foggy on new year Eve .

It’s been an amazing week. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Beds are comfortable too!
The family who run the hotel are amazing. Friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable (about the area) and nothing is a problem!
Dinner was amazing every night. I did miss a wider selection of fruit (and mushrooms) at breakfast, but that’s a minor issue. The dining room is lovely. Lovely views over the mountains for breakfast and very cosy in the evenings.
Skiing in Zell am see is wonderful, with a few different regions on offer (bus rides can be busy on returns) there’s no shortage of pistes.
Overall, an amazing week.
