A	Ashton Mason on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place, a family-run landhotel with a traditional feel but also high standards and good taste. Set outside Zell am See on the other side of the lake, which actually was nicer in our opinion. Great restaurant serving refined Austrian food and very popular with locals. Note that the sauna is closed in summer.
C	Chalet Skilift Lakeview on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant Superb, we've eaten many times standard of food and wine is always fantastic. The chef takes real pride and has great skill in preparing the food. The Hotel lovely, comfortable, perfect location overlooking the Zeller Lake and with the Kitzsteinhorn Mountain and glaciers in the background. The terrace dining al fresco in the summer is special. The service is friendly and welcoming.

Perhaps in part because we were there when there wasn't a huge crowd, but I don't think it mattered as they really made sure we felt comfortable and had what we needed. Tried the gourmet menu and had some great tasting items. Flavour was somewhat strong for me, but I think it probably fit the local taste and style. Choice of wine pairing was on point and so impressed when they're local Tyrolean flavours. Would recommend anyone in the area to try dining here!

It’s kind of the wrong side of the lake, but the upside is you have the best views from here - if your room has any view at all. Some don’t. Be aware that there are at least two buildings, one older, and the other, newer and probably nicer, with better views. Breakfast is in the new building next door to the old one. The place closes in the summer, obviously, and I was there on opening. My only gripe was the fact that my room had not been opened all summer. I was lucky to be able to open the window and then leave for 5 hours. If the review sounds harsh, it’s not meant to be. All of these things are little things and probably not typical. It is a nice hotel in a very posh town....with many other hotels to compete with. This place is ok.
