 It is very easy to approach. Slightly steep stairs but the panorama is worth it!

Die Stiege auf den Berg bestand schon im Mittelalter. 1671 wurde sie von Fürsterzbischof Max Gandolf erneuert. Sie erhielt als Wetterschutz ein Holzdach. 1888 wurde die hölzerne Kapuzinerstiege durch eine steinerne Stiege ersetzt. Bezahlt wurde sie von der Stadt Salzburg.
Imbergstiege
The stairway to the mountain already existed in the Middle Ages. In 1671 it was renewed by Prince Archbishop Max Gandolf. It received a wooden roof as weather protection. In 1888 the wooden Capuchin staircase was replaced by a stone staircase. It was paid by the city of Salzburg.
