E	Ella Absalom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend! The hotel was excellent, our room was spotless and really cosy. We ate in the hotel restaurant downstairs and the food was very good, particularly the goulash soup, staff also very friendly. The man who checked us in was very friendly as was the lady who checked us out and also the cleaner I met in the corridor. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from town, it is a lovely walk and the location was perfect for us, by the train station.

Very good, fantastic service from Sandra in the restaurant whose English was fantastic and who dealt with the humour of the Brits well? spent more than the BA allowance but well worth it as the food was great. Rooms look good and bathrooms fine, all in all a good outcome, if we didn’t have to leave at 5.30... Thanks to the hotel making a poor situation as good as it could be.

We decided to head through to Salzburg and see if a hotel there could put us up for the evening. I was instantly impressed by the very friendly and professional staff. They turned my day around. The lady at reception quickly booked a room for my boyfriend and I, gave us clear instructions on where to find the secure hotel parking and showed us to the lift when we had collected our luggage. The rooms are spacious and everything you could expect of a beautiful 4 star hotel. We ended up having dinner at the hotel and were further treated to excellent hospitality and delicious food, all set in a beautiful outdoor beer garden at the hotel’s premises. Being a quarter of the way into our holiday, I can already say staying at this hotel has been a highlight of our trip. Thank you to the staff at Hotel Imlauer for your kindness and hospitality. You made us feel so welcome and excited to be in Salzburg! It’s safe to say we will definitely be coming back.

J	John Field on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top hotel with wonderful restaurant- but ask for a room away from railway tracks - very loud trains all night. Good value compared to most hotels close to historic old town ( 15 min walk). See view to railway from room I had.

Schnitzel so also was fantastic and the Gulasch they don’t have any kaiserschmarrn left I am afraid so couldn’t try that. But the apple strudel was amazing also. Service was very nice hospitality top would go again and again there.

What made them special was their hospitality and kindness of the staffs. They were very willing to help us, which we really needed, and so much care was provided during our stay. Highly recommended. P.S. their restaurant is also great place to go for the Austrian cuisine.
