Fantastic hotel with great facilities, lovely dining, and wonderful staff!

The stay in the apartment was great. everything was fine, from the reception all the way to the cleanliness of the apartment. We were extremely impressed with the peace and location. Mrs. Eva took care of all the information we needed for the stay and also provided us with full information about the activities in the valley itself. We were very pleased.

Perfect hotel, service at a high level. Upon arrival, they will park your car, take your luggage to your room and take you for a welcome drink. Staff very nice, food excellent. Room cleaning every day. We really like this place. It is only a few steps to the cable car. I recommend to everyone and we wish the hotel prosper in these difficult times! Thank you!

A fabulous hotel. Thestaff are exemplary and can’t do enough for you. Food, environment and hygiene are first class and I am happy to highly recommend.

Sitting on the runway waiting for take off I thought it a good opportunity to reflect on our stay at the Hotel Gurglhof. We travelled as a family of four (two children of 5 and 3). We chose Obergurgl as the reports suggested that it was a family friendly resort with the slopes being great for beginners, this was very much the case. Hotel Gurglhof seemed to tick all the boxes for what we were looking for; a high quality of rooms, kids club and swimming pool for the children, half board and close to the ski schools and ski hire. The welcome was warm and very friendly, check in was a breeze and we were even treated to a free welcome drink which was a nice touch. The rooms are superb, we had a junior suite which was a great size for the children to run around and stretch their legs. The bathrooms are lovely with a nice powerful shower that never failed to supply hot water! The best thing about the hotel is the staff. The service is the best we have experienced in any hotel throughout the world. We had an incident with a spilt hot chocolate on one of my children’s legs (caused by the other child I might add) which immediately was seen to by the very response staff proving cold towels and burn relief gel, great job guys! A special mention has to go to the restaurant staff, especially Andras and Zjeanette. Very attentive but never overbearing, nothing was ever an issue even supplying food that wasn’t on the menu for our very picky 3 year old! The food at Hotel Gurglhof is just superb. The selection at the buffet is fantastic both for breakfast and dinner. Each evening you get to choose a main based around fish, meat or veggie. We went to bed each evening feeling very full on lots of delicious food, hats off to the chef! The pool and spa is amazing. We spent most afternoons after skiing in the pool or in the sauna. A lovely space to chill and unwind, the kids particularly loved the pool spending around an hour at a time in there! For the families looking for further stimulus for their children other than the great skiing will be thrilled to hear that Tina, who runs the kids club is just fantastic. She is wonderful with children and was great at making crafts with them and keeping them entertained which is a blessing when they are tired and ratty after a full on day on the slopes. We just loved our stay at the Gurglhof, so much that we have already booked for next year!

Great hotel with lovely rooms and immaculate service. The food was excellent, allowing a wide variety of Austrian and international options - something for everyone. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect apart from one thing - annoying kids in the pool. Pool is unsupervised, closing at 7 with no adult-only time slots, so it is a magnet for obnoxious loud children. :(

Great hotel! Immaculate rooms, food was delicious and staff were always so helpful and accommodating. Located only a 2 min walk to the lifts so all very easy with three children in tow. Will definitely be booking again!

We stayed in a Junior Suite which was very spacious with high quality finishings. However we had to keep a window open all night as it was too hot. Also, lights from the balcony couldn’t be turned off and came through the curtains which were not blackout. Even as foodies, the food really was superb. So much better than we could ever have expected. Special thanks to Andras for the friendly service as our waiter the entire time. The pool area was nice and modern, however we wish there was an hour at night dedicated for adults only.
