Amazing stay, right by the ski slopes and just a 3 minute walk to the town center. Very friendly and helpful staff. The sauna is also great to relax after a long snow day.

We had an unbelievable stay at Appartment gurglhof. The Appartments are right at the slopes, we could already put the skis on after only a couple meters walk. The staff was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We also fully took advantage of the cosy wellness area, which was stocked with dried fruits, a selection of teas, juices, while enjoying a view of the mountains.

We have skied in Austria many times and have stayed in a variety of five-star hotels. We chose this self catering accommodation as the 7 course gala meals at the hotels were wasted on our children. The transfer driver found accommodation easily. We arrived late after nightfall, no one was at reception however an envelope was left at the reception desk with our key cards in it and instructions on parking (which we didn't need). We entered the accommodation and were taken aback by its sheer size, 2 large bedrooms and kitchen, superb balconies, 2 bathrooms and all finished to a very high, modern standard. A complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful gesture and went down very well after a long day travelling. We met Michaela the next morning, she almost single-handedly is responsible for the day-to-day runnings of the accommodation. She was an absolute angel. It was Sunday morning and the supermarkets were closed, she sourced milk for our children immediately. She was always there if we needed her. To be greeted by her smile may be a small thing that it does make your vacation immensely more pleasant. The location is perfect, it's a steep hill down to the ski school, ski hire and main gondola. It's a little difficult lugging your skis back up the hill but see it as training for your ski legs! There is a ski and boot room next to the apartment. The apartment kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of utensils, most importantly an espresso maker with abundant capsules. The steam and sauna room is standard size, clean and well maintained. The relaxation area is small for no more than 2 or 3 people at a time. My only criticisms are that the steam and sauna would benefit from starting earlier in the day (after lunch would be perfect) as skiing gets a bit slushy in the afternoon and wanted to use these facilities. The children would have loved to have been able to use the hotel swimming pool, perhaps that should be an option in the future? Overall this place is a gem, it is luxurious, finished to a very high standard and is perfect in terms of location. This is a champagne ski apartment at its best! We will definitely be coming back next year. Bravo Michaela!
