The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are amazing, and the location right in the heart of Salzburg can’t be beat. My girlfriend and I stayed there for three nights and they were the best three nights of our trip. Highly, highly recommend!

The hotel is in the heart of the medieval old town, surrounded by shops displaying wrought-iron guild signs. You can walk to pretty much anything, including Mozart’s birthplace, just down the street. Because driving can be a hassle—pedestrian-only areas, inscrutable road signs—you’re better off taking the train from Vienna or Munich

Excellent service overall - but breakfast servers overwhelmed and therefore not as responsive/difficult to catch their attention for requests. Breakfast variety a bit lacking - no ability to order fresh omelettes from the kitchen, for instance. Loved the balance of traditional architecture with hi-tech conveniences in the rooms/suites. No fitness center / gym which was the only main thing missing for us.

The location was in the heart of old Town and in easy walking distance to the castle, gardens, and the wonderful old shops. We had two junior suites which were perfect.great beds, showers, large TV with an antique feeling. Perfect. The breakfasts and a dinner were excellent. Best eggs Benedict ever. However, the best part of the hotels the staff. Always smiling and genuinely pleased to help. We will definity come back.

Every little detail is well thought of. Staff were not only professional and attentive (the least we should expect), they were also genuine. A memorable stay that we hope to replicate again soon - next time with friends and family!

I was initially hesitant to use a suite upgrade because the pictures on the website didn't make the suite look all that great. It was way better in-person. It combined an authentic antique feel with modern touches, like bluetooth/tv/radio speakers in the bathroom. The staff we interacted with were all very warm and welcoming. We had dinner at Herzl and drinks in the bar; both were great experiences. Adrian, our bartender, was wonderful! We had a great conversation with him. I would recommend upgrading for the breakfast, as well. The buffet was lovely, as was the setting.

The vibe of the hotel is authentic Austrian experience and the staff so welcoming and lovely. The room was spacious and every detail is well thought out. The bed so comfy with the doona. It's right in the heart of where you want to be. Breakfast was exceptional and a special mention to Franz who always got our day off to a great start. If we were to return to Salzburg I'd return to this fabulous hotel.
