★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I walked by this place around 4pm and people were overflowing from the tiny interior to the streets. It looked like a happening little spot so I stopped in and was greeted by the friendliest crowd I have ever met. This spot is a regular hangout for Salzburg locals but a great stop for visitors as well. Try out the famous schnapps before settling on a glass of wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made to feel welcome. Obviously, there are a lot of locals who go there who really know their drinks. However, for shnapps neophytes like myself, we are made to feel welcome and overall it’s an excellent local experience with forgiving and friendly staff. The locals seem very used to foreigners being in their domain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny but cozy and in a good sense. Of course you cannot fit too many people in there and twice I've been there it was quite crowded but that is not surprising. Not because of its size but because how delicious their products are. I can see the bar being crowded even if it was sever times bigger. They have amazing products and staff was always welcoming. For me it is a place that I will wonder into every time I manage to visit Saltzburg.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really surprised by the other reviews. Super rude and unfriendly owner, literally just dropped the menu on the table when said hi and asked about whether I buy or drink here. After a while I asked another question, he just rudely responded.
What a shame! Lost a customer and potentially more. Or maybe it’s racism?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Sporers on a recent visit to Salzburg. The schnapps was excellent and the store amazing. I purchased two bottles of apricot Liquor to take home to the US. A must visit shop on the Getreidegasse. I was wondering if you ship to the USA or if their is a distributor of your products in the US.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in here to sample locally produced schnapps with the desire to take home a bottle or two and ended up taking home four! The schnapps is just that tasty! The Staff was just and friendly and kind towards us as well as the locals stopping in for a drink.
