The rooms were beautiful with quirky artwork. Great location within old town. Definitely opt for included breakfast - it is VERY generous and so delicious, served in a beautiful space.
A	Alison Sheane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Salzburg for a little winter break in January. Firstly, the welcome at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. Ulrike, who checked us in, was the definition of customer service. She welcomed us with a lovely Austrian lemonade and made us feel comfortable from the off. She noticed it was my birthday in a few days time and gave us a mini prosecco bottle to cheers and she talked us through where everything to see and do in the city was. She even walked us to our room and talked us through how everything worked so there would be no confusion. The room itself was fantastic. Spacious and modern whilst still feeling cozy and intimate. Great location, easy to get to all the sights in the city. Ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious!

Junior suite and the suite are amazing , the roo. Itself is very spacious. The suite has a great terrace with amazing view!! The junior suite is very spacious and great for couples! I traveled as a solo trip . The service in the reception is extraordinary and fantastic!!! I felt like they are a part of my family! The breakfast was amazing!!!! Dont miss it!!! The dinner in the restaurant of the hotel is very expensive and not woth the money unfortunately. The free minibar (for once) was really nice ! The location was convenient and lovely! Very close to everything ! Thank you for such an amazing time!!

We got three rooms and noticed that the window views in some of the rooms were better than others, but that is probably the only negative and expected since the hotel is situated in an alleyway. Very friendly staff and complimentary breakfast in the crisp morning air tops it off!

Ulrike, especially, was so helpful during the planning process helping us ensure their stay was special and taken care of. Their attention to detail and friendliness was appreciated by our guests during their time there. Not to mention, its spot is wonderful! It was so easy to work with them (even planning from across an ocean) and I would definitely send clients there (or myself!) again. Thank you, Hotel Goldgasse, for a great trip!

From the welcoming by the receptionist, to a free room upgrade, the room itself, the location of the hotel in the middle of the old town around all the attractions, the very friendly staff and also the breakfast everything was great. We would absolutely recommend a stay here!

From the exceptional welcome we received on arrival from the lovely Ulrike, to the well appointed rooms and the fantastic breakfast (and service) everything was perfect. We would highly recommend the Hotel Goldgasse and will certainly come back next time we are passing through Salzburg.
