P	Peter Obenhuber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren gestern in der Griggeler Stuba und erlebten Geschmacksexplosionen, die die exzellenten Bewertungen von Gault Millau, Fallstaff, Schlemmeratlas usw. mehr als rechtfertigten. Das Weinmenü unterstützte die Speisen perfekt. Das junge Team um Chefkoch Matthias Schütz arbeitet bereits auf sehr, sehr hohem Niveau und wird noch goldene Zeiten vor sich haben. Jedem, der nicht zu ignorant ist und weiß, dass Spitzenleistung natürlich auch angemessene Entlohnung braucht, ist der Besuch dieses phantastischen Restaurants uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Wem allerdings - wie in der vorherigen Rezension geschehen - 1000€ für ungeahnte Genüsse für seine ganze Familie zu viel sind, dem sei die Currywurstbude um die Ecke in seiner traurigen Heimatstadt empfohlen. Yesterday we were in the Griggeler Stuba and experienced taste explosions, which more than justified the excellent ratings of Gault Millau, Fallstaff, Schlemmeratlas etc. The wine menu supported the food perfectly. The young team headed by chef Matthias Schütz is already working at a very, very high level and will still have golden times ahead of him. Anyone who is not too ignorant and knows that top performance, of course, needs reasonable compensation, the visit of this fantastic restaurant is fully recommended. However, if - as in the previous review - 1000 € for unforeseen delights for his whole family are too much, the Currywurstbude around the corner in his sad hometown recommended.
V	Volker Fabian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hold on to your wallet and your guts! Though you’re seated in the A la Carte restaurant, don’t expect to actually see a menu. The Tasting Menu is Carte Blanche style (loosely translates as ‘blank check’). No prices are revealed, except for the wine list of 100+ pages. Mystery food, mystery prices, mystery meat! So don’t be surprised to walk out with close to €1,000 for a family dinner of 4 ... that no kid would ever enjoy anyway! Worse though, if you find yourself hugging the toilet bowl for the rest of the night (like I did :-( !), don’t expect much sympathy from the team, let alone any money back. It borders ruthlessness to be offered a free lunch as a gesture of good faith. No, thanks, one experience was quite enough! The Griggeler Team deserves a slice of its own serving! --- UPDATE: Took some convincing, but got reimbursement for our meals. Appreciated!
