★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect spot for your holidays. Embedded in the Austrian Alps the panorama is breathtaking while the service is simply perfect.
This hotel leaves nothing to be desired. Incredible as it is, I was unable to spot something that I could rant about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here for lunch while skiing and I had an awesome spätzle dish. The staff was friendly, but maybe a little busy as it took a while to order food and drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent food and service. Conveniently located on the slope near the top of the Oberlech lift, this is a culinary gem in Lech. Whether for a main meal, or just coffee and cake, this place will not disappoint with their local fare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed for a week at the Hotel Sonnenburg.
During these days, Some of the waiter , waitress, and housekeeping ladies were outstanding and impressed me a lot with their skill of service. Without these people general service could not be that special.
Matej at the Bar , Waitress Leah who served my breakfast were exceptionally good.
Goodluck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this place tonight for a dinner with my family. Everything was perfect until they brought us a bill. We payed without asking but then my wife realized it was too expensive. They charged us 14 euro extra for steak (returned after complaint) and tip was charged automatically as 10% on top without further notice. This is something expected in vienna tourist traps, but not in 5-star resort hotel. I have visited hundreds restaurants in austria, but this was first time they charged tip without asking and noticing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an unforgettable time and everything we could possibly imagine was standard there.
The staff was really friendly, the rooms were ablolute luxury, our spa-time was super relaxing and the skiing is insane.
They have saunas and a pool, TVs, spa-treatments like massages and stuff, a gaming-room and other entertainment, amazing food, literature-readings, such a comfortable and luxurious vibe, and the view from the rooms is breathtaking. They even have a kindergarden (I don´t have a child but from what I saw the kids were super happy there).
A detail that I really loved were the body care products that the have in every room. They are all organic and especially mixed for this hotel. You just always smell good and my skin has never been softer.
So the bottom line is that this hotel is really worth visiting and I will gladly come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel for families - stylish but informal. We have stayed there for the past 5 years. Ski-in ski out location is the best in Oberlech and the in-hotel ski rental shop offers efficient and personal service. Ski school is just outside. Lech slopes are quieter and easier to ski than St Anton.
Food is typical Austrian style. Good professional waiters. There are a variety of other options in Oberlech and Lech also - and the hotel will give you a credit if you are in half board and have dinner elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here a couple of times for lunch during our recent ski trip. The hotel is located just off the run for easy access and has delicious food. However it can get crowded so you'll need to make sure you have some time set aside for the meal. The second time I stopped by we were trying to grab a quick drink while trying to complete the Run of Fame but had to leave without ordering as we couldn't find our waiter and it was just too busy.
However we had a wonderful lunch on the first visit this trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is plenty of outdoor seating with great views of the area. We tried their charcuterie plate (see pic) and ended up order more for the table as it was so good. I had their salad with bacon as we'd been eating heavy most of the trip and I was ready for something lighter. The salad was fresh and delicious and the local bacon/ham added a nice bit of salty goodness.
Overall this is one of our favorite lunch spots and some of the group is likely to come back and stay here with spouses as this is a really nice area with fine dining and a bit quieter than St. Anton.
