My new favorite spot to stay in Salzburg. No car needed. can walk to most things in the old city. Breakfast is good, small room but very nicely setup. staff are a great help.

The building has a great vibe and you can really feel the extra effort they put into make your stay cosy and comfortable. You are greeted with cake, water, coffee and an extremely friendly staff. All of the desk staff spoke English and each of them went out of their way to help us have a pleasant stay. We booked two family rooms which have two king beds a small sitting area and a nice shower. We originally planned to stay one night but enjoyed it so much we booked another night. I booked through Expedia so I could use my points but failed to get the family room for the second night, the owner of the hotel called Expedia and helped us get the reservation cancelled with no fees and rebooked both family rooms for us. This is not a luxury hotel but as far as European hotels in this price range go it is very nice. The only negative I could find is the noise from the pub across the street but if we kept the window closed it was blocked pretty well. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were pleasant, the room was nice and the price was very reasonable. There are a number of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. Wish I had stayed longer!

The hotel is quite small but well kept, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Beware that there are bars on the street outside, so maybe it’s worthwhile to ask for a room at the back. Parking for cars is 5 minutes walk away.
