For customers of car rental companies : manadatory need take a photos of rental car for check in /check out stages. Othherwise you can find an extra jorney for your deposit money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived and given two options of cars, a citron or upgrade to next level of Peugeot. We picked the Peugeot due to space. It was perfect and even had gps included in the model of car so very grateful we didn’t get a unit. Returning the car was no hassle either. Such a more pleasant experience than I’ve recently had with the other major international company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At check-in the lady that attended to us was lovely and very professional. At check-out, the gentleman was rude and was looking for damage where there was none. The damage he indicated was less than 1 cm, and very well may have been there from before was so small. When paying 700 euros for a rental, this is not what one expects. Reminded us how one is treated at a low cost rental. Or may be he saw that we have full insurance, so wanted to take advantage of it? When he gave us final contract to sign, was very savvy and showed final price, but not how much damage he was passing on to insurance company. A TOTAL DISGRACE AND CHEAT!

That makes 100% difference and I would always come back to Avis. The agent helped to change my returning time when I put it by mistake incorrectly. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too bad you can't give negative stars. They don't even deserve one. We pre-paid for a rental car. When we arrived at the airport, the guy in broken english, tells us we have to sign a paper and provide a credit card, but not to worry because it is only for a deposit. We ask about the charge on the paper we are signing and he insists it is only a deposit and nothing will be charged. A few days after we had returned the care and left Vienna over 700 Euros were charged for insurance and other bogus stuff. That was more than double what we paid for the car rental. STAY AWAY FROM AVIS. When we called the manager he said he was surprised to hear from us because most people just pay the charges and don't even look at the bill, but that there was nothing he would do. THIEVES!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing experience. Dishonest staff who promised an upgrade for free (which in the end we didn’t get) and then charged over $800 for an insurance we didn’t need nor ask for. Staff explained it would just be a deposit to make sure the credit card worked, but that was a lie. We talked to a manager who said he couldn’t do anything about it. We will never rent a car with Avis again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I originally implemented a one star review because I felt that Avis was unfairly attempting to make me pay for supposedly new damage to the tire rims when they were already damaged, which was acknowledged when we first had picked up the car. I heard back from Avis management right away, however, and they looked into it all and completely resolved the issue. So here I revise my review to 4 star. I don't give 5 stars because I had to manage the problem instead of it being smooth from the beginning, but I am happy to say that all was resolved.
