It is exactly as I had imagined!
We spent beautiful november day here, weather was great, sunny day with a bit of cold wind from the lake, and with the right person it is a great experience. You need like 30-45 mins of slow normal walk with a lot of image taking to get from one side of the village to another, and all the time that feeling that you are somewhere special will stay with you. If you feel cold later on, there are a bunch of nice pretty restaurants and caffes where you can grab a cup of tea or a coffee. Also, since we were hungry, there is a great place left side of that church in the middle, a little stand with doner kebab, and if the guy asks you what you would like to put in it, just choose all, you wont regret. To be honest I always preffer little street food fun and most of the time It is great! But this kebab was perfection, we couldnt find better even in Munich.
Still, this place is magical. I left a huge review here which wont cover much, but you get the point ? Visit it, bring friends and family, have a great time in this magical mountain place. Have fun traveler!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost everything is closed in Hallstatt during winter and u need to park the car 600-700m away and walk but the view is amazing and totally worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning and curious location, small and very compact the view with snow is amazing. But in winter most of the restaurants and shops are closed. Maybe due to current Covid situation.. Suggest the place for the view anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hallstatt ?? is one of those scenic towns which can be visited no matter the season. It offers a unique view in all the weather conditions. I visited Hallstatt in December 2021 and although it was foggy for most of the day, the view was magnificent for a couple of hours. Will definitely be visiting this place in summer as well.
