I was there for only one semester and quite well, with the coronavirus they had to take measures to stop the parties which is understandable. The people who run the residence are friendly and reasonable and you can discuss your issues with them. The rooms are good and the gym although not very big was good to train a little.

1. The location of this dorm is quite good, buses, trains and trams are nearby, and one substation is currently under construction. 2. The cleaning staff maintain the common area (corridors, common kitchens, etc) very clean. 3. Since this is a new dorm, the decoration and all the furniture and equipment are quite new. 4. All the staff are very nice, friendly and helpful, especially the dorm manager. 5. It's on the edge of the 10th district, but still very safe. 6. Of course there are some problems, but they are caused by the un-respectful students, and the dorm cannot choose who can move in, right? LOL. Dorm manager is always there to help. :)

The walls are super thin and the people living there don't stick to the rule of being quiet at 10 pm... super disrespectful

It is already more than 1,5 years, that I live in this dormitory and am very satisfied with the living conditions here. The staff has been friendly and helpful, whenever I asked something. The building is modern both outside and inside, I love my room and feel quite cozy here. There is always an opportunity to experience friendships with lots of people with different backgrounds and cultures, this is something I love about Vienna and especially student dormitories. Having the access to gym, sauna, music room, study room is a great plus. My personal favourite is 2 common areas on each floor, where it is nice to meet friends just for some chat or watching a movie together. Having a grocery shop and Müller right next to the building also adds some comfort to life here. Also I am a nature lover, so having a small park right across the street and also a big park Wienerberg 15 minutes away (by foot) from the dormitory is really lovely.

It's a fairly new building, the rooms have a modern design. It's well connected with many public transportation options. Going to the center takes around 20-25 mins. There are many markets around. Cleaning happens every 2 weeks. The staff is kind and helpful- though they do not speak much English, for non-German speakers there is a dorm representative who helps with your problems and ensure communication with the management. Overall, it's a good place to stay.

As an Erasmus student, I would not recommend this dormitory. After I have lived here I show you my honest opinion with pros and contras Cons: Since Corona started social gatherings are forbidden. Therefore all chairs and furniture in the public areas have been removed. So there are no parties and the chance to meet someone is very low. The only place to invite friends from the university is your room. The dormitory is located directly on one of the busiest streets in Vienna. So if you have a room on the street side, you will have noise from cars 24 hours a day. It is also difficult to breathe in the room in the summer because the air is always stuffy due to the cars. So my tip is to ask for a room on the courtyard side, not on the street side. If you are lucky there is still a room available. The public kitchens cannot really be used. The windows and balcony doors have been locked by the administration since Corona. When someone is cooking, the air heats up extremely quickly, making it impossible to breathe properly. There is also a higher risk of Corona contagion because it prevents fresh air from entering the kitchen. Conclusion: Cook only in your own kitchen. There is a small stove top there, but no oven. At Christmas, even all the public kitchen was closed for a short time. Since the dormitory opened, the rent has been increased every year. In the meantime, the rent has risen over 50€, compared to the initial price. If you want to stay longer in the dormitory, keep in mind that the rent will probably increase again. Students have asked to reduce the rent several times during the Corona period. This has always been refused by the company so far. Attention. The website says that there is a fitness room and a sauna. However, these have been closed since Corona. There are no good options for jogging in the nearby area. There is only a very small park right on the street. As a result, the air quality is poor. Before Corona times, the room was cleaned once every week. Many cleaners were fired. Since Corona, the room is cleaned only twice a month. So only half now. There is still no subway station nearby. This is being built and will probably open in two years (Attention. rent increases are to be expected then). The train station will be closed for a year, for the subway work. This makes it impossible to get into the city quickly. From now on you have to take the tram, which takes much longer. Pro: The staff is friendly and will help you with any questions. There is a Whats App group for the dorm. There you can also ask the students personally about the dorm. Conclusion: Vienna is a big city with many student residences. For the price there are better dorms with better conditions (party room, cinema, etc.). Comment on the 5 star ratings on Google: I looked at the profile photos of the people who rated 5 stars in the last few months. I don't know a single person from them and have never seen those faces.

I have lived for two years in this dormitory. Honestly I can say that the atmosphere was awesome. The building is new and it delivers a lot of advantages considering the fact that you need 1 min to be in LIDL. There is also a park. I strongly recommend it!
