We ordered veal schnitzel and deep fried chicken. Both were very delicious. We tried their own bier Augustiner Maerzenbier and it was also very tasty ( not like a Hell or Dunkell beer- between them). You should make a reservation for sure. The place was very crowded.
Maybe small suggestion : they can also serve small porsion option. For example my chicken was very big for me. I could’ve ordered 1/4 chicken instead of 1/2.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place us fantastic!! I had the pork roast with dumplings and sauerkraut. I also had the Augustiner beer. I recommend all of it!! My wife really enjoyed the goulash as well. The waitress was funny and very attentive! If you are going after 1900 it would be best to make a reservation. They gave us a table without a reservation at about 1645 but told us we only had until 1900.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty food but unfortunately service was too slow. We visited around 13:35 and waited pretty long time for table and they didnt check cov-pass properly. Just saw the QR code and passed. Waiters just passed by and didnt come to us so we had to wait much long time just for ordering. And for paying also needed to wait. First waiter i asked he didnt come back so we had to ask another waiter to pay. Well, not that bad but i hope they work a bit faster and properly. Btw Backhändl was very tasty ?

They provide very tasty authentic (Backhendl). The staff are friendly, place is clean and food is super tasty.
Do try this restaurant to get to taste the right Backhendl of Austria

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good, rustic Austran food in a homely restaurant. Well priced too. We had been recommended the backhendl which was delicious. Enormous portion sizes and one plate would easily feed 2 to 3 people, depending on the size of your appetite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great local restaurant with an authentic Austrian “pub” atmosphere. The fried chicken was extraordinary and so were all the other dishes. The beer they have on tap is some of the best I’ve had in Austria (or even Germany, for that matter!) The staff and waiters are super friendly and attentive. A very enjoyable experience - highly recommended.
