Walter @Panorama Tours was our expert tour guide on an incredible journey through the historic area near Salzburg known as Eagles Nest, Berchtesgaden, & the Salt Mines. Our group of 4 were so glad we did the tour through Panorama Tours. It was money well spent, and we have a new friend we will remember fondly, so book this tour without hesitation, you wont be sorry you did.

Did the tour to Hallstatt. It was nice, but I was little dissapointed that it was in a mini van. I love to take pictures while riding a bus, but the windows were kind of dark. Then I thought there would be a photo stop at the lakes. The driver said he would try to stop, but he couldnt find a spot, while the other van of panorama tours did had the option to take nice photo's. Then the time in Hallstatt wasnt 2,5 hours. It was 2 hours, 15 minuts. Really short. The driver was nice and friendly, but i would suggest to stay at least the compleet 2,5 hours and the stop at the lake or maybe another viewpoint. And I understand you used a mini van because of the few tourists but its not so great as a normal bus. Price was bit expensive but acceptable.

Today, I had a trip to Hallstatt with the Slovenian guide Allenka. It was a very enjoyable, informative experience and I was very impressed with her knowledge of Austria and Hallstatt. I would definitely recommend Panaroma tours

I had two amazing tours with these guys. Hallstatt and Eagles Nest. Both were well organized with awesome guides - Peter and Bennita. They got new cars, very spacious. Fantastic experience.

Took a tour with Walter today. It was a small group going to Berchtesgaden and the salt mines. Walter was friendly, informative and had a great sense of humor. I definitely recommend taking a tour with him. Skip the coffee. Take a walk for a great photo. If you walk west from the tourism center and go behind Bier-Adam you will find two walking paths. They are marked by the blue sign of a person walking with a child. Take the left one that's steep. When you come to the first crossroads, walk in front of the house to your right. You should see a wood railed path. This will take you to the best view of the city. The salt mines were cool. The slide was fast and fun. Definitely go on the tour.

Fantastic! Our tour guide for the day was Walter. His 40 something years in the industry is invaluable as his commentary is both entertaining and informative. Very well organised tour to Hitler's Eagles Nest and the Salt Mines. Comfortable coach which ran on time. Highly recommended!

Great time on both Original Sound of Music and Lakes and Mountains tours. The best sightseeing company in Salzburg - family-owned and this is reflected in the service. Next time we will book early to do the winter horse drawn sleigh!

This was a great tour and well worth the time. I’m just glad we did it in the off season. Alenkq our guide was amazing. She was full of great information while we made our way to Hallstatt. She even showed us the home of Red Bull and now we know how the Energy Drink Crazy started and how one banker will be kick himself until the day he dies. So if your wife likes visiting small towns pressed into cliffs I definitely recommend this tour.
