I sincerely hope that I am the first the review this exceptional tour agency, because that's just what they are: AN EXCEPTIONAL TOUR AGENCY. Early in 2017 I made the decision to lead a musical / cultural tour of Salzburg and Vienna, patterned to some degree after the musical tours CC&A did for the American Beethoven Society's tours. However, I wanted some quite specific changes to the Beethoven Society tours and I found that Claudia Ahr most willing to work with me on each aspect of our tour. In the end, after several months of contact, we had finalized an 11 day tour, from Munich to Salzburg to Vienna that more than met all requirements. We ended with 23 participants and we filled each day, from morning to night, with a program that closely followed the footsteps of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, including some wonderful musical events and even the works of Gustave Klimt. The accommodations were excellent, group dinners a joy for all and we had our own superb tour bus, with a most wonderful driver.At the end of the tour I can tell you that all participants returned home happy, tired and most pleased that they had received such a great return for their buck. Lastly, but most importantly, throughout our entire tour we had the services of the most brilliant and lovely Katharina Saudino, a professional tour guide based in Vienna.. Katharina was caring, most articulate and knew, by heart, the musical and cultural heritages of both Salzburg and her native Vienna. From the front of the bus, using a microphone, she provided us with a running commentary of the musical and cultural histories of these cities, without referring to notes.
