Customer team was super helpful and responded quickly. The room was clean, comfy and cozy. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Salzburg again!

There are no staff on site and guests are required to self-check-in with information received via email a few hours before. The hotel provided the incorrect room number prior to check-in; accordingly, we were unable to check-in to our room for over an hour until we reached an employee over the telephone who provided us the correct room number. The employee did not acknowledge the error or apologize. The hotel did not provide early check-in although the room was available for hours prior to our check-in and we repeatedly requested it. There is no where to store your luggage prior to check-in as there are no staff onsite. This should be remedied as it is one of the major conveniences of staying in a hotel, otherwise guests should just consider booking an apartment instead for the added room and comfort.

Our room was good; liked not having a key to manage rather the pin code. Missed a knowledgeable person on-site; not being Austrian a person on site would had been helpful. The room had two USB ports, that were much needed, our later experiences in Austria demonstrated that was a plus. What was included in the breakfast was not apparent until our departure. I would recommend it; really missed a front desk person.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Mozart. The location was convenient to everything we had planned. The rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great and the staff were very nice. The weather was mild when we were there. I highly recommend The Mozart unless you are planning on visiting when it is hot. There is no air conditioning.

Veeeeery lovely stay in Salzburg. Mozart rooms totally match the vibe of the city, staying at Mozart was like being in a Wes Anderson movie. I loved not worrying about keys (you only need a code to enter the hotel and the room) and also appreciated quick response from the customer support team!

I suspect that things have changed here recently because I certainly do not understand the many positive reviews. When we arrived we had to stand out front for over an hour to try to gain access to the hotel because the doors are kept locked and there is no one at the front desk, only an 800 number to call. After 3 hours and many phone calls we were finally able to get into our very tiny rooms, by far the smallest room of our five-city tour. Up until this point, we've had warm welcoming experiences at each fully staffed hotel we stayed. We quickly found that there is no one here at all! You get into the hotel and your room by using door codes, sort of like a storage locker. I called the Numa group who apparently runs this place and they said we didn't have a voucher (which we did), our rooms were reserved many weeks before. I had to get my travel agent involved to get this straitened out, while we stood outside in the cold. We have since found out that there is no maid service, and that breakfast is simply a cold tray of various foods, no choices and nothing hot except the coffee. Things here are far far different from what the website would have you believe.IMHO this is not a hotel at all and don't expect anything that resembles customer service. Photos of our hallway lighting, broken door latch and nearly empty minibar, which they go out of their way to advertise as "free". NOT recommended.

Much better that we thought, we really like the online self check in, check out. There’s no reception but staff available on WhatsApp 24/7. Only disadvantage is that if you have a car, the nearest parking is about 5 minutes walk. No air conditioning.

Super easy and comfy. The room is small but very cute. It's the perfect place for a short term stay. Especially if you arrive very late since you check in online. Would absolutely stay here again.
