Went there to buy something. I came 1h before the closing time. All the staff were busy. Finally I got one 25 min before the closing time. He explained to me that the process will take 30 min and you don't speak german so we will need more time.... I told him I do speak german who knows? He checked with his boss and came back with a magic solution... at that time only 5 min left. The shop is gonna close. He showed me a german text and told me that his boss want me to understand what is written.... I was really annoyed... Anyway I tried to calm down. I was able to understand a bit the text and explained it to him and told him that if you are not aware... I can tell you that google is able to translate it for me. He went again to his boss and back again, it was closure time. Simply he told me it's ok for the language but now it's time we need to close. Come tomorrow we will serve you.... They need less then one star.

It is fine, just an advise. Don't order to your home, prefer to order your goods at the store. I ordered a pc monitor to my address and after one week they returned it to Vienna because they couldn't find my address (It was so clear and everyone can find it). Then I ordered my pc in the store and it was there in 1 day.

I went to Media Markt last week and wanted to buy a TV and PC monitor. I went over to the TV section and an older man came over to "advise" me. He then left after basically repeating everything I said and told me he will get someone to help with the purchase. After 30mins of waiting around I approached another worker and told him I have been waiting around when suddenly the older worker comes back and says to his colleague "oh there you are, I have been looking for you". He blamed the colleague for taking so long even though It was obvious that the older man forgot about me and was just looking to blame someone. I knew he forgot about me because he was standing in another section "advising" another couple. Luckily the TV sales man knew what he was talking about and sold me a good TV and monitor. I decided to pay with the "0% Finanzierung" scheme and went into the office. I filled out the form as requested and the lady began entering my details into the system. She was annoyed the whole time I was sitting there and it was clear she was not in the mood to do her job right. I was born in Singapore and wrote that in the section "place of birth". She asked me, if Singapore was in China and although I explained to her that Singapore is a country she still put in China into the system.... I have an English passport because I am English and it took her 5 minutes to find UK in the system after wanting to initially put in that I'm for Ireland. I had to explain to her that UK in German is Vereinigtes Königreich. She kept on being frustrated and finally printed out the contract. As soon as she came back from the printer she look at me and told me that the bank denied my request and immediately ripped up the contract and told me "there is nothing I can do, goodbye". Obviously they will decline it if your office staff cant manage to correctly fill out a form. It really annoyed me that it didn't work and that it was clearly because of her. Just to make it clear, it could not have been because of the lack of understanding because I am a native German speaker. I also qualified for 0% Finanzierung, as I have been living in Villach for 4 years and have an income. Wenn ihr die Finanzierung anbietet, dann sollte es auch für jeden gelten und nicht nur für den standard Österreicher. Hoffentlich wird diese Kritik ernst genommen und vielleicht sogar ein Geografie Crashkurs für euer Office Team eingeführt.

I want to place on record the exceptional service, we experienced on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 3:00PM. The reason I know this time and date is because it was the wedding day of my best friend and I was in Villach, Austria to be his “Hochzeit Trauzeuge”. A few hours before the evening reception we discovered we needed external active speakers to boost the sound on the dance floor. Our time was extremely limited and we had to get a “system test” done before setting up the dance floor at the Burg Landskron. It was here that HERR DIAKAKIS provided exceptional service by helping us rig a test system right there on the floor of Media Markt..! His diligent help and his dedicated customer service attitude helped my friend and his bride have a wedding, they and their guests, will not forget. And for his wonderful and timely help, this Hochzeit Trauzeuge will always be indebted personally to Herr Diakakis and his management at Media Markt who have helped him uphold this standard of excellence. Vielen Dank!

This place is great to buy electronics. The prices sometimes are more competitive than the online ones. Great camera selection. The layout could be a little better, it is a bit confusing when going in. Loads of free parking space outside.

If I could rate them zero stars, I would have surely done that. I have a lot of experience ordering online and I didn't have a single problem with them, but the media market's service is a total disaster, it was my first and last time ordering from them, several weeks ago, I ordered a vacuum cleaner and drying rack and since they were heavy and I don't have a vehicle, they charged me for shipment twice, but the disaster starts from here, the shipping service they use which is GLS is a total scam, you pay for it, they don't even try to show up at your door and they claim you weren't home which is obviously a lie, I personally contacted the GLS and tried to be rational with them, and they accepted their fault and promised me to send my parcels again, but they didn't keep their promises. for a week, every single day they said your parcel would arrive today and I was stuck at home for one week waiting for them to send my parcels but they didn't. then I contacted the media market, and they took the shipping service side and treated me like a lier, I asked for my refund, but they refused, and now I lost 200bucks and I didn't even have my orders. there is a reason why people can trust amazon more than any websites, because of their responsibility, shame on you For answering your response, for the people who don't know, I add this part, I tried to contact with them several times through their websites and we're in a loop for several weeks, I demand my full refund and they refuse to accept it, I'll share this experience as much as I can to make sure no one will be trapped in your scam
