★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basically a burger and toasties café for lake swimmers, walkers and sunbathers. You can eat outdoors with large umbrellas covering as necessary. Retro pop music from back in my day playing. Lovely staff and first rate food, surprisingly very attractively served considering the huge portions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Public lakeside bathing area with a brilliant terrace restaurant. As well as volleyball pitch among other things, table tennis and kids play area if I remember correctly. Its council run which means free entry and has all the amenities you could need.
Kite surfer's use it as a launch area, have often seen folk setting up slack lines there and it gets the evening sun!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place in warm day. Easy to get in the water even for kids. Enough of shade under the trees. You can rent a paddle board at the bar for 10€ per hour. They have some fast food and nice salads there as well. My favourite is huge ice coffee for 6€. It is really nice, just coffee, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
