We got such an exceptional reception on our first night that we came again and again. As the name suggests it’s right in the middle of Hallstatt. We’ve promised the owner that on our next visit we’ll be staying in his guesthouse. Drinks 10/10 Service 10/10 Location 10/10 Can’t recommend this place highly enough

We only ever had wine and drinks here. It is LOVELY and so nice and warm inside. We could have spent hours there. Thomas is lovely and accommodating. It's the best Mulled Cider i had in austria.

The hotel is recently and beautiful refurbished- from the pine floors, beds and furniture to the tiles and fixtures in the restrooms. The beds were very comfortable and our room had a cute reading nook and nice views. The bar downstairs seems to be the popular spot in town, and I am sure it is because everyone comes to see Tom. He was the true highlight of our time in Hallstatt. He is born and raised here, and this is the house he grew up in. He was such a great host while we were here. We cannot wait to come back to Hallstatt and stay in I da Mitt again.

The included breakfast was great and Tom was a fantastic host. In the evening the dining area becomes the perfect intimate drinking spot.
