Excellent service, one of the friendliest hotels we ever stayed. Nice and clean rooms, perfect location and a delicious breakfast. Would always stay again when visiting innsbruck.

Best location to explore the city. Everything is of walking distance: bus stops, shops, restaurants and a the train station. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They can suggest where to go and what to see. There are various city maps and brochures you cab take at the reception and we bought our Innsbruck card there which was very convenient. Room was spacious, bright, and clean. Enjoyed my breakfast every morning.

Family owned hotel on a quiet street. Very conveniently located. Clean, huge room. Extensive breakfast. No dinner on-site but they offer a coupon at a nearby hotel. The owner kindly offered us packaged breakfast when she heard we were leaving before the restaurant opened.

Overall, a nice hotel with some drawbacks. First off, the positive. The location is amazing (in the old city), and within minutes walk of attractions such as the Golden Roof, numerous restaurants, shops etc. There are no fridges in the rooms for any cold products guests may have purchased. WiFi is free, but not particularly fast (on the slow side) and moreover, intermittent (certain parts of our small room had coverage, others very weak). Buffet breakfast is included which is average (average selection, not bad, but not amazing). The building itself is old, but has been newly renovated in a tasteful, appealing decor (“progressive alpine” style). Rooms are clean and well maintained and are of average size for the location, perhaps a touch on the small size, the same sentiment for the washroom. HOWEVER, due to the nature of the building (old, but newly refurbished), there are some minor (major?) drawbacks. The rooms have absolutely no kind of air exchange or ventilation system (except for the washroom ventilation/fan and windows themselves). As such, during hot summers (such as during our stay), rooms are quite stuffy and hot. The only recourse is to open the windows, but then due to the street side nature of the hotel (if you get a room facing the street), you’ll be constantly disturbed by vehicles and pedestrians passing by, which can at times be very noisy, especially for guests who are easily disturbed in their sleep. In addition, due to the excellent location of the hotel (in the middle of the old city), the hotel does not having any dedicated parking. However, there are paid parking lots available across the street from the hotel (17€/day), and in the general area, which may require some walking. Overall, a nice, small hotel with many positives, but also with it’s negatives (some of which might be “deal breakers” for some guests, others, a non issue).

Good hotel in the centre of innsbruck. Close to the main street and all of the attractions. A good breakfast is included, with a selection of continental options. Room got far too hot in the evening. The beds are 2 singles that are joined together. Overall good stay

I rarely go back to review a place unless it's on Airbnb. We were at Hotel Zach for 4 nights in October 2019. It was a great stay! The room is not large, but good for 2 people (we had 3 and were a little cramped, but not horrible). It was extremely clean and in a great location. Close walking distance to the train station, a museum, Top of Innsbruck, and several good restaurants. The breakfast was very good. One of the best features of this hotel is the staff. They were so helpful, pleasant, and a wealth of information. One young man spent at least half an hour helping me figure out paperwork for the trains that I was completely lost with. There is an elevator at the hotel. The only downside is not being able to regulate the temperature in the room. Everything else is wonderful!

Lovely reception staff, very helpful indeed, welcoming. Great location. The room was ok, functional, very clean, no frills. The room was very hot with no temperature regulation, so hard to sleep well. Bed also very hot, unsure what the mattress protector was made of but made us sweat! Comfortable bed. Breakfast very generous if you eat meat and dairy, no hot food for vegans, some form of potato or beans would be nice. Just fruit, fried peppers and toast. Still. It's early days for vegans in Europe! They did have vegan margarine which was great. Nice bread, lovely coffee. This hotel was fine for a one night stopover.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly, always happy to go above and beyond. Breakfast was amazing and we were very close to the old town. The staff even made a few suggestions that saved us quite a bit of money. We went there for honey moon and the staff even made a love heart on the bed, kissing swans out of pillows and rose petals on the bed for us. An absolutely wonderful experience
