O	Octav Popescu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Das Alpenhaus in Jan. 2020 for 6 nights and loved every second of it. The hotel has great location just across the street from the ski lift and everything you need is withinn walking distance, drug store, supermarket, fashion, cigarettes, etc. The staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly and accomodating. The food was very good and tasty for both breakfast and dinner. Also vegan friendly. The room was spacious and we were impressed about the size of the dressing and closets. Never in our lives have we had so much space for clothes in a hotel! And last but not least, our favorite thing about our stay with Das Alpenhaus was, no doubt, the cute funny cat walking around the lobby and sleeping by the pool. The most spoiled cat ever, Felix on his name! We absolutely adored him/her (not sure if it was female or male) and we appreciated how pet friendly this hotel was. We are definitely coming back and we highly recommend Das Alpenhaus to everyone wanting to have a great ski experience in Kaprun!
L	Lesley Puncher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel room perfect. As a fussy eater the food is not entirely to my taste. All staff were lovely. I has a visit to the Spa which was so relaxing. The swimming pools looked good too.

Good breakfast, dinner salad bar was brilliant but the main course wasn't everyday up to par. Please fix better coffee for breakfast.

D	DANIELA LUCIA SANCHEZ MONTENEGRO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday I was in the hotel restaurant with my boyfriend, because we wanted to eat and drink something, when this rude "lady" at the bar (she is blonde and big if you can recognize her) we asked her if she had worst curry since we thought we had seen something like that in another table and she started laughing… then we asked her for two drinks and an ice cream and she continued serving her in a very bad way… so I told my boyfriend in Spanish that the girl was not very friendly… and wow she knew Spanish apparently, and finally as we expected she try to charge us for the 2 drinks when she didnt send the drink that I had ordered, which I imagined seeing the level of this “lady” i saw in other comments before that this is not the first time that somebody have this kind of problem with the personal in this restaurant.

The sauna-area is really vast with a lot of choices ranging from saunas with ~50-90 degree Celsius, chill out areas with ambient music and some fruits and tee for free to rehydrate. we booked in Oktober and thus we got a summer card for free which allows you to buses and lift for free. Definitely worth a visit no matter if it's summer or winter :)

All the service from the arrival to the check out, extra thanks to Rosie at the front-desk, Roland and Jean at the restaurant. They should receive an extra €500/week! :-) The entire staff was courteous and supportive! The furnishings and all decors are at extremely high end and totally reflected the property's relaxed vision. The all-inclusive breakfast buffet and cook-to-order choices are outstanding! The dinner menu was extensive and well prepared. Worth to mention, that EV's have excess to charge-up! Just let the front-desk know that you have an electric-car. Also only a 5 minutes walking to the chair-list for skiers. Highly recommended to all visitors!
