★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can only review the restaurant and can give nothing else than the full 5 stars. We were there on a Tuesday, which means they have the Spaghetti Aglio Olio special. It is prepared at your table inside a proper Parmesan cheese and tastes absolutely divine... as long as you're a fan of garlic :) Great food, friendly staff, would definitely go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great kid friendly place. When we arrived the high chairs were there with books for the little ones. When we ordered food, the good for the young kids arrived first which allowed us to feed them and not let our own food get cold. The staff is very friendly and they have done great local dishes on the menu. Very good place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is good. Nice swammerl burger and the spinach Knödel is also good. However, they seem to be understaffed. The waiter is trying hard, but has too many tables to serve at once, which causes some delay. Definitely 4 stars if this is improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Riesling I have ever tasted (Eichinger from Kamptal, 2015) Excellent food both Austrian and international. Very friendly service also for children. 100 m to the ski lift Maiskogelbahn. Over the last week we have visited several restaurants in Kaprun, Aufhof is the only one we returned to and I hope this is not the last time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good restaurant, with very friendly and helpful staff and a very nice ambiance. We could taste some traditional Austrian dishes and they were delicious. The desert bar was well garnished. The only slight minus aspect was the level of cooking of the entrecote, which was rare instead of the medium rare I have ordered. Otherwise, a very good experience.
