Last Dezember 2019 I have bought one pair of black leather boot in Högl Store Am Graben in Wien. After only 5-6 times of wearing the boots (in ordinary circumstances ) the leather looks like a cheap faux material with zipper on left boot ( See Foto) brocken so that I can’t close a boot . It was so frustrating weil I was on holiday and I have to buy new paar of shoes. I can not believe that !!!!! Before I bought a Högl boots I have had one pair of leather boots for a very long time (10-11 years ) and I was very very satisfied with quality!!! Also the price was better! Here we talking abut 5 times of wearing , not abut 5 year of wearing!!!! Weil I was terrible disappointed with my recent purchase I have read Google reviews and I think there is a issue with quality of Högl products. After contact with Högl costumer service response was: „ Ms. Janjic, the article you are reclaiming is one of the most famous articles of our current season and very frequently worn.Therefore we decided to offer you a touch up that we have finished now. Your zipper has of course also been repaired.“ I don’t want any repaired boots which I have to repair every few days and weil costumer service permanently refused to make any other agreement I had already make a contact mit consumer protection service in Österreich ( Konsumentenschutz) and I am waiting for response. Visited Högl´s wonderful shop in Vienna and bought 2 pairs of beautiful boots. Unfortunately I had an issue with one of the boots and had to contact customer service. Service was fast and my problem was solved very fast and smooth. I have now worn the boots several times and they are really superb quality. Thank you - I will be back soon for more! Happy New Year.

They are not interested in solutions; tell you the size for a shoe is no longer available for years (which turned out to be wrong), do not offer a (payed) repair service and ask you to order from Zalando rather than ordering a shoe that's currently not in stock at the shop.

Terribly disappointed with our recent purchase. The shoe looks nice but the quality isn’t. We got this white leather shoe for my wife and only after 3 times of wearing the shoe in normal circumstances (walking, dinner party etc.) the leather on the side is peeling off like a cheap faux material. It will peel off easily if rubbed by hand or a damp cloth (i.e. if we try to clean it!) We’re not convinced that this part of the shoe is actually made of high quality real leather as it is advertised. We sent it back to the store to be repaired/replaced but they refuses to do anything, saying it’s caused by normal wear. We emailed their customer service, and they also said they can’t do anything about it. The other pair is starting to peel off on the side as well. The shoes in the pics are brand new and haven’t been cleaned yet, the peeling is so bad that we’re afraid to rub the shoe to clean it even with the special pad they provided for cleaning white shoes. Maybe the rest of their shoes are high quality, but this particular one we bought for €200 definitely isn’t.
