M	Matouš Rucki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for one night. Staff was nice, the were as expected as per the online description. Wonderul historic house right on the main square. Beautiful garden on the lakeside with good breakfast.

Bird songs woke me up at 5:30 so I went out for a stroll and to take photos of this magical place. Church bells toll at 6AM which lifted my spirits even higher. Words fail in this place.

Room was ok, view from the balcony was amazing!!! Lakeside. It rained all night while I was here so no sound from the neighboring rooms bothered me. Bathroom was shared but had individual stalls with locks and was like new. Breakfast was good. Was able to store luggage here. Very nice lady checked me in and out.

But if you want an authentic experience in an old guesthouse, at a splendid location between the old town of Hallstatt and the lake, you won't be disappointed. The house has old furniture and creaking stairs, but also paintings, comfy beds and the best view you can dream of. The breakfast was alright, it's got things for all tastes (I had some yogurts and cereals, my friend had bread, ham and cheese).

The breakfast provided was amazing, and they served an amazing apple cake! The staff was friendly and accomodating. The room could be brighter.

That means it can easily be accessed from the boat dock :) I had stayed here during Christmas time with a close friend for one night and the stay was decent with comfortable beds. As the building is old you can expect some creaking in the night time. My only suggestion for the host would be to provide a better restroom solution for guests. Having a central one with a non-integrated bathroom is a challenge! We had to go to our rooms to freshen up every time :P Otherwise the breakfast buffet was sufficient and we were well satiated. Thank you! :)
A	Abhishek Govilkar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 star rating for location, staff & service. Had amazing experience. Got lake side view and its just breathtakingly beautiful. For stay - felt like living in old palace which was certainly "the" experience. There is no restaurant. There is breakfast though which i feel can improve, specially for an indian visiting, not many options.
