The other waiters ignored us plainly. Food could be a little bit cheaper in hindsight of everything. Definitely not an upscale place.

On this crisp afternoon the chicken soup was the perfect starter with its tasty broth. The lightly fried and seasoned char fish was so tender and declicious. Finally the apple strudel and espresso combination provided a wonderful finale to this special experience.
A	Andison Yang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 14 bugs/flies in the photos. Anyone can find them all? They kept climbing on your arms, hairs, faces and beers. Oops! An waitress noticed a fly on the rim of my glass, and she quickly wiped it out (and some beer bubbles) with her thumb as if I couldn’t see it. Anyway, we were sitting at the corner near the lake. It’s a mystery but it seemed that our table was the only one that suffered. When we finally have to ask for an indoor table, one of the waiters madly said, ‘where ON EARTH do you want, IN OR OUT?’ And so we were rearranged to another somber corner indoor, without candles. The nearest light was 5 meters away. We finished our dinner in a long pregnant silence... As for the food, well, they were basically like triple-priced high grade McDonald. The French Fries were actually good, except for the ketchup and mayonnaise costing 5 euro EACH without prior notice. After all, it’s a world-famous town with beautiful views where tourists come every day. What else can you expect in Hallstatt? I can’t even find another option with more stars in google map......
P	Popo H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Date: 28/09/21 Friendly service. Amazing View! Food wasn't too bad either. We had a nice lunch at this restaurant which is attached to Seehotel Gruner Baum. The waitperson mentioned they will be closed starting next week until March the following year.
