★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheaters!!!! Beware , don't rent cars from them. They charged me euros 660 for very small scratches already on the car. And said you can claim insurance if damage is over euros 900. Cheaters !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rent a car in Europcar Hauptbahnhof, Wien for a trip to Hallstat and Salzburg.
First of all, I contact other rent a car companies but beyond others only Nick understood my needs and perfectly help me further. I needed a family car for a trip and Nick gave me my dream car. It was so clean, no cigarette smoking and a wonderfull gps with winter tyres. These things may sound easy but Nick was the only one who understood them correctly while my mind was confused and direct me with his experiences. This is something else that other companies don’t have.
Eventhough my repeatedly questions was a little annoying he was so kind and helpfull. Unfortunately it is a little hard to rent a car for a woman even in Europe because of not knowing so many stuff as man do. It was my first time with Europcar but I guarantee it won’t be the last because of that quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No complaints about the car. It was a new black VW Golf with no issues. However, we were not entirely happy with the service. As we were an hour early, they refused to give us the car unless we agreed to pay extra. I don't understand why this was necessary if the car was already available. Also, they insisted on seeing my International driving license even though my original driving license from the country I live in was in English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST CAR RENTAL SERVICE EVER
We made our booking weeks ago and called to confirm that we could take our rental to our destination countries. We were told no problem given our rental type. Then when we got there and they charged more than 100+ euros more for an extra insurance and that the head office we contacted was not informed of this process. It took two hours to sort out the mess. When we finally went to get the car, it turned out we had the wrong keys...no car in the said spot or anywhere nearby. We tried to tell him this and were told we had to wait again because the guys was alone. More than three hours of TERRIBLE SERVICE. NEVER RENT HERE.
UPDATE: Response from agency does not excuse rude behaviour of agent or delay in receiving car because he told us the wrong location of the car (and there were no cars matching the description within a 10m radius). Very frustrating experience all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The issue with many car rental companies is that they charge you in the small print. It's not always obvious what your total bill will be. They will enlarge the price your familiar with and then add things underneath that you sign to but are not immediately aware of. READ the agreements carefully. Even if you don't understand the language look out for numbers. The rental car company (in this case Europcar) should really make it clear by adding line items to the total. Also who the hell charges 47 Euro for a booster seat that you can buy from Amazon for less!! Lesson learnt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rent the car here quite often as I travel many times from Vienna to Italy, for me it is the best service in the city, I always enjoy having a chat with the personnel and the cars are just perfect. Always new and clean cars. Never had a problem with them, on the contrary sometimes I got free upgrades and the prices are just unbeatable! Highly recommended
