The guy on a reception was trying to sell me additional options (insurance/car upgrade) for 20 minutes, considering the fact I didnt want none of them, which was clear from the beginning. Eventually Our booked car, Jaguar F pace, was not available and we had to wait for another substitution for +20 min (we spent around 40 min in total) due to cleaning. Overall nothing super negative but all together left me some sad feelings.

After an eight day rental, I returned the car 50 minutes beyond the deadline. Later I noticed I was billed for 9 days on my credit card, without any warning or pre-notification. This was outrageous and sneaky -- many do not check their bills closely. I was told a 30-minute window was allowed for 24 hour rentals, but 50 minutes for a 192 hour rental was clearly excessive. Upon protest, this was reversed, but should never have occurred in the first place. Especially to a Sixt member with 20+ years of renting record.

Customer service was mostly unhelpful. We were hustled into a cheaper car that had windows that didn’t fully close. After complaining we were assigned the vehicle we were supposed to have from the beginning but the vehicle had multiple scratches that weren’t logged, that we likely would have been charged for had we not pointed them out and asked to put them on the record.

Great customer service. I showed up two hours early and my car wasn't ready. Agent offered available cars and gave me upgrade for only quarter of price. Spent 5 minutes between walk-in and drive out. Agency just few steps from parking. Return was easy, good signage in parking to find. Return took just one question and 30 second to pass keys. no hassle, no rip-offs, invoice was clear and with out surprises. Like Sixt, always great selection of car and great customer service. Have been used this company in a different countries and have the same experience. And trust me i am not easy to please :)

They were really supportive and charming at the checking. The car was also excellent. Everything went smooth and the service worth every penny. No extra charges, no surprises and 0 worries about this branch office.

I have rented cars many times from this agency and witnessed the service degrade over the last two years. - First cheap, city cars are no longer available, or always run out. - second the opening times have reduced and are not practical for clients. I usually want to rent a car to go to the countryside for a day. With the reduced time, if I want a car at 7:00 or 7:30, I would need to rent it a day earlier and this costs double... - finally one of the agents is extremely inefficient and managed to spend 10 to 15’ per client. I had to wait 60’ to get my car. Aware of the long queue outside, he still tried to insist on renting me a more expensive car than I booked, or extra insurance, like if we didn’t waste enough time. Smart tricks to squeeze staff and get more of clients? I’m now looking for another agency...

Wow, spent more than 2000 euros on the car within a week. Now getting 2nd car. SIXT is full of lies. Two times booked online for a specific price, but upon car pick up they charged more. No proper explanation was given. It is good to make upsells in business but SIXT upsell is a well hidden fraud. Btw, I just had no other option as time was limited. P.S. got the car last week and this week strictly for one reason - to go to Poland-Ukrainian border to help refugees. I am myself from Ukraine trying to help. I told them about that. And I am not looking for pride here, but I would assume professional behavior from SIXT. Instead all I saw were tries to get more money from me using their fraud schemes.

Wound up paying almost TWICE as much as I expected!! WATCH OUT!! Only use Sixt if there is literally no other option. Reputable car rental companies will provide daily cost/rate analysis for insurance. The agent smiled at me and even when I asked didn't show me. Sixt added a "fall special" insurance coverage in addition to the daily insurance cost. A single charge of almost 200 Euros. and for the nail in the coffin... the car was low on oil, they instructed me to fill it and would reimburse me for the cost. Guess what... they only paid the cost without covering the sales tax!! Such a poor company that they have their customers put oil and don't even fully cover the expense. NEVER AGAIN!!! unless you love getting taken advantage of.
